Wow! That is a ridiculous price. The only way I’ll ever stay there is to win a sweepstakes. For that price I would want to actually go into space or at least get off the ground.

    2 night stay
4 guests per cabin = $749 per guest per night or $5,999
2 guests per cabin = $1,209 per guest per night or $4,809
It should include free dining or something.

That’s completely ridiculous. For that amount of money, I could spend 2 weeks in Tennessee & not be forced to do what Disney wants for an experience & lose park time. 2 days for that price is a complete ripoff.

I was told the price was for an fully immersive experience meaning all transportation, meals and park tickets. If that’s true the price is not much different than the rack rates for the Poly or Contemp with the same Afonso.

Would you stay there during the day, or go to parks?

Done with Disney. It is only for the mega rich now. Step aside little people, you aren’t worth Walts dream for bringing happiness to every child.
I am officially a Universal person now.

Saying that Disney is only for rich people is a silly comment. Yes, you will need to spend a lot of money if you want to stay on the Star Cruiser. But that doesn’t stop you from staying at the All-Stars if you wish to travel on a budget. Just because Disney offers a $235/person (plus extra for wine) dinner at Victoria and Albert’s doesn’t mean everyone needs to pay that much. You can quite easily eat burgers and hot dogs if you want and there are plenty of other options across the price and experience spectrum for dining at Disney.

I’m not sure if I’ll stay on the Star Cruiser or not. But when evaluating the price, you need to consider that this is a complete immersive experience. The cast really need to take on a role, not just wear a themed costume. This means the labour costs will be higher. Sure not everyone in the Star Cruiser case is going to be a trained actor, but there will be quite a number of those.

Universal is just as bad. They nickle and dime you to the equivalent of Disney. But they’ve got some fabulous attractions!
I thought I read somewhere that this is like a cruise, food and the excursion to Batoo is included.
