In the UK my options for visiting a Disney park are very limited, even to Paris it is a difficult and expensive thing to prepare for so going to a Disney store in the UK is always a must do for me – I’m not a fan of online shopping, I’m in my 30s but I’d rather go into a shop and make purchases based on impulse rather than what I find online and in the UK version of shopDisney the selection of merchandise is very poor. You could at one point buy from the US version and pay for shipping but this isn’t possible at the moment so I’m very limited. I believe the only store staying open in the UK is in London which again is in the south of the country. We should be encouraging people to get out and support businesses and jobs rather than staying locked in a house otherwise we’re going to end up like the people in WALL-E

I’m so disappointed that Disney has decided to close so many stores! The closest one to us is in London and that is more than an hour in a plane for us to get to. I have a non verbal autistic child and he loved going into our local Disney store whenever we were in town. I don’t think Disney understand it’s not all about making money it’s about the experience of going into the store. It’s so special and magical for both kids and adults. For any one like my son he can’t work an online store and there is no magic online for him.
