Our family of 7 will continue to just take the Mears Van in the taxi line, like $70-75 after tip. I can only imagine they will eventually use the same price hikes for fast passes and is when we will officially be done with disney.
Disney has lost the magic!!! It has truly turned into a money pit. The special part of Disney was the free extras, the characters, and the wonderful staff. I spent last week there, and I will probably never go back.
The staff was rude, the guests were horrible and rude, and the attraction lines are horrendous. This was my 5th time going to Disney, and it was the worst by far.
Walt’s dream has turned into a money pit, full of angry people, and staff that care less about the guests.
The biggest question is will they retrieve your baggage like the Magical Express and deliver it to your room as well as let you check in at the Disney resorts for departure?
This is disappointing to hear, and as someone else said, will they take charge of your bags both ways as the Magical Express did? If not, the price is for even less service.
We are planning are first trip to disney with my daughter and grandchildren and knew disney had free shuttle from airport to disney resorts and that was 1 thing I didn’t have to worry about and then …wow what a shock to read they were getting rid of it and then to see how much extra it will cost us to get to and from the airport for 4 adults and 2 kids that need carseats. Very disappointing, I wish disney would take the time to figure out how to continue the magic express for their guests…it would be appreciated by all who stay at the resorts.
