Well if the rumors true the movies already failed before it started production. you want to make the movie a success put somebody else as Mara Jade. Then put Brie Larson in and then in the first 5 minutes have her killed. Fans would rejoice. My gf sat and watched 20 min of captain marvel then she turned it off and said it was the worst movie she has ever seen. Mainly due to Bree Lawson
Can’t we just be done with Skywalkers and that time/part of the universe? It’s been done to death and it’s become the worst part of the franchise. Everything doesn’t need to be connected, it makes the world small and basic.
Sigh. I liked the Timothy Zhan books in so much as all the others were absolutely garbage. That being said, Mara Jade was a hollow character stand-in for the reader. I really didn’t care for the Luke’s wife storyline and I loathed that she was force sensitive and wielded a lightsaber beyond the aforementioned “stand-in” for the reader aspect. There is something disposable about Mara Jade that I just screams to be left on the shelf.
Calm yourselves. It’s unlikely this is happening. Thrawn is important Mara Jade is completely pointless to the new canon. And they know this. Whether or not that was Mount Tantiss has little to no bearing on foreshadowing Mara Jade. This is just an article written by someone who knows very little about Star Wars and is grasping at straws hoping to remain relevant
Would be cool if they could bring Mara Jade in and do her character justice. Seeing as that IS Mount Tantiss and it IS on Weyland (ok, a slight misspelling)…it is possible the Filoni is doing some variation of the Thrawn trilogy, which is fine by me.
