    It’s always been the slave one and always will be the slave one. It’s just political correctness going too far at this point to rename a fictional ship from a galaxy far far away just because it’s name is slave. Also firespray sounds terrible compared to slave one

    If they didn’t plan on changing the name then they wouldn’t need a placeholder. They’re trying to change the name with as little backlash as possible. So we’ll get this slow-drip, maybe this, maybe that, maybe not until the outrage has petered out and no one cares anymore.
    Not caring about Disney Star Wars is getting easier and easier so it will probably work…

    this is great shame from lucas company and the biggest drama and BS..why is such problem for star wars whats real problem at all…this is so wierd,you would like to delete qctors scenes..wtf is going on,this is not normal at all,dont just say please it s some policy or bla bla… it’s something more worse..stat wars fans sleep so as so

      What Kennedy doesn’t realize is Slave 1 has nothing to do with transporting ‘Slaves’. Boba fett can control his ship from his gaunlet and that term is called ‘Master and Slave’ just like the reference to a Master cyclinder of your car. Slave 1 has nothing to do with actually transporting real slaves. He is and always was a ‘Bounty Hunter’
