My family loves the Muppets. I can remember watching the Muppet Show on primetime (Saturday night at 7pm). The Muppets are fine in their location, but I think improvements can be made. Pizza Rizzo isn’t that good, but to be fair they didn’t have much to work with considering their predecessor (Pizza Planet wasn’t that good.) Mama Melrose is right around the corner. Maybe they should go in a different direction. Perhaps, a NY deli. It might be time for Muppet Vision 3-D to get a new Muppet Movie. Keep the Muppet foundation and improve.
I agree. Grow The Muppets. Every generation of kids wants and loves them. I still sing The Muppet Show Theme to kids and adults at my ‘side’ job selling hammocks at the local renaissance festival and I’m learning to play Rainbow Connection. Nothing is more wonderful than watching children laugh with Kermit and Gonzo and Oscar the Grouch and the rest.
If anything they should expand and make more of the area. I love The Muppets and when I visited I thought it was ashame that they were just shunted to one back corner (it was when the New York facade was still being pulled down to be replaced by Star Wars/Toy Story lands). PizzaRizzo was close to opening but hadn’t and I thought there’s so much they could do other than the show. Something fun and interactive and zany like the Muppets are would be just the ticket for people of all ages.

Retheme Tower of Terror? Sorry. Chris L should be banned from ever sharing their opinion ever again. What a ridiculous idea.

I agree, leave ToT alone.

It was suppose to be bigger, but Jim died before it could be come to fruition.

It was Jim Henson’s last piece of known work before his death. It should stay in honor of him and his adoring fans.
