These Actors get paid an INSANE amount of money to make this film! That being said, I believe they should be happy with already getting paid for their work on the film. Does not DISNEY own the film rights? They should be able to release it how they see fit. The Actors that are suing Disney should be ASHAMED at trying to get more money from Disney than their contracts allow! Just my two cents worth.
If Disney is in breach of contract, then they’re in breach of contract and these artists’ contractual rights were violated by their employer.
I don’t understand why you immediately stand up for the mega company which has way more money, who seemingly is in breach of contract so THEY can keep millions of dollars.
Why are they not greedy in your eyes and only the artists?
Should everybody just let their employers keep money they got shafted on because they “earned enough” now? If it was you and your company, you’d be beating down payroll’s door demanding your money.
Pretty tired of hearing people immediately complain about actor’s greed when they would be doing the exact same thing if they were in their position.
I enjoyed the movie. It wasn’t Marvel’s strongest showing people say and people complained about the story not contributing anything, but to be fair, it is actually pretty true to storylines in the Black Widow comics over the years, except character relationships…
All the actors did a good job, I thought…and earned their money…except Rachel Weisz…if I had to pick a weak link, I would say her…I didn’t feel like she particularly sold her role, but she’s also a side character in the movie so it wasn’t a major deal to me.
While Disney may be in breach of contact, I feel Scarlett Johansson should’ve went behind the scenes and negotiated a new deal based on Disney’s new business model. Because of her $20MM paycheck, it looks very greedy and in bad form, especially when the World is in such a bad state right now.

Not a Marvel Fan so no skin off my back in that regards but was SJ’s performance worth 20 million? How much of the praise is CGI?

She tried to renegotiate.
Disney ghosted her and decided they just wouldn’t pay what they agreed to.
