Disney has just revealed four new Annual Passes coming to Walt Disney World on September 8, ahead of the Resorts 50th anniversary celebration.
Here is everything you need to know about the four new Annual Passes that will be replacing the previous Annual Passes at Walt Disney World.
Here is a breakdown of all the different pass types. Now, there will only be four options to choose from when it comes to Annual Passes at Walt Disney World. The four Annual Pass options are now called:
- Disney Pixie Dust Pass
- Disney Pirate Pass
- Disney Sorcerers Pass
- Disney Incredi-Pass
Each different Annual Pass option from Pixie to Incredi-Pass offers free parking and 20% off of merchandise, dining, and more.
Note, that the Pixie Dust Pass and Pirate Pass are exclusive for Florida Residents. The Sorcerers Pass is exclusive for both Florida Residents and Disney Vacation Club Members. The Incredi-Pass is the only Pass available for out-of-state residents. However, Florida residents can purchase the Incredi-Pass with a payment plan as well if they wish.
Much like when Disneyland reimagined its Annual Pass program into Magic Keys, this program has integrated Park Pass Reservations into the Annual Pass. Park Pass Reservations are the advanced reservation you need in addition to valid theme park admission in order to enter the theme parks.
What makes each pass type distinctively different is the amount of Park Pass Reservations you can make with each different pass. Starting with the Pixie Pass you can only hold 3 Park Pass Reservations, and going up to both the Sorcerer Pass and the Incredi-Pass which can hold up to 5 Park Pass Reservations.
Disney did say that there will be times throughout the year “bonus reservations” available in addition to allotted Park Pass Reservations for your Annual Pass type:
We’ll also be adding “bonus reservations” to the calendar from time to time, so Passholders can make an additional park reservation without it counting against their applicable reservation hold limit. Plus, when Passholders stay at Disney Resort hotels or other select hotels, they will also be eligible to make theme park reservations for each day of their stay – in addition to the reservations you can hold based on your pass type!
Note that you will need to add PhotoPass onto these new Annual Passes for an additional fee. Water Parks can also be added.
