Seems like a lot of rides have been down over the past several months. I’ve been to Disney many times (with plans to go again in the fall) and can’t remember it ever being this bad. What’s going on?

They’re being cheap and not wanting to pay people to run the place. Hence the reason why you’re seeing garbage on the grounds, in the water, overflowing waste baskets, etc.

I’ve been more times than I can count since the early 1980’s. I’ve never seen them do what they’re doing now. Even with weather. If I went and they closed that many rides in one day, they’d be refunding my money for the ticket.

Fire Bob Chapek, fire Josh D’Amaro. Those guys are screwing with the money and they’re going to forever ruin the Disney reputation that’s been built over the last 50 years. Service and experience used to be impeccable. Every. Single. Time.

Walt Disney, and all the early imagineers who built these parks are rolling over in their graves right now. It’s disgusting.

We were there2 weeks ago. I never saw overflowing trash cans. Everything looked neat and as clean as it always had. There were a few ride delays but we worked around them and were able to ride everything we wanted. We had a blast!!!!

I was there for 5 days 4th of July weekend never say over flowing trash cans or trash in water. There was a BIG lack of seating to rest and long lines for food.

There was a thunderstorm yesterday and most of those rides are outdoors, not sure why they thought this was worthwhile news.

exactly what I was coming here to say! I was in Magic Kingdom until 5 yesterday and could literally see the lightning striking buildings! And I’m pretty sure they close the carousel during the fireworks everyday so idk if I would consider that newsworthy.

Accurate. We we in at 8am and to the first ride jungle cruise, which was open. Then the next was to a closed Pirates of the Caribbean(closed first thing in the morning, no rain excuse applies here). No biggie, we’d just walk to splash mountain (also closed). Despite this nonsense, we still hit 7 rides but that was all us and had very little to do with Disney. Also got stuck on 2 rides for abt 5-10min. Peter Pan’s flight and Haunted Mansion both. Hate to to say this, but this article is totally accurate. Caveat emptor

We were there this weekend and got stuck on haunted mansion and Peter pan. Plus we were in line for 3 other rides including pirates of the Caribbean and they all got temporarily closed. Awful experience for such a lot of money

    Stupid article garbage site.

That’s just how Disney continues to add value to their product. The CEO is a political correct POS. This is what happens when you let godless millenials make decisions for the company. Same for the vaccine policy for cast members. F you Disney.
