YES!! I would definitely pay to do this! Unlike most other escape rooms, they could also have actual cast members play the parts of different characters to make the experience more interactive and unique!
Whether is was Disney Quest, or NBA Experience, or the VR place The Void at Downtown Disney at Disneyland or “Escape Rooms” these places just do not get enough paying customers to survive over an extended time.
Locals my go once or twice and I think there are just too few resort guests that want to pay the money or have the time compared to going into the parks.
We did Disney Quest when we were there in 2014 (staying at Port Orleans resort) but we had a huge discount being Disneyland/Disney World Premier pass holders. It was great fun for my daughter for sure and I think that was a great concept, as was the NBA but again there are just not enough traffic coming in to keep it going.
