They changed itineraries weeks before that CDC travel warning. I think it has more to do with keeping the passengers in a “bubble” and not intermingling with others in ports of call.
The CDC has to be out of their minds. Placing The Bahamas on their number 4 level. The covid numbers are high there because it is a tourist destination and tourist are taking covid there. The USA has over 100000 cases a day but yet they have the balls to place The Bahamas, on No Visit list?? They can’t be serious.
we are sailing on the fantasy in October & next February we have had 2 cruises canceled so far. if it is that bad out according to the CDC I am surprised Biden doesnt lock us down he is the root cause of the problem.
Whatever the reason, by nixing Nassau, they’re doing their passengers a favor. Outside of the overpriced excursions, there isn’t much to do there and the food stinks,

Guess they don’t trust those vaccines they are requiring passengers to have to keep them safe from catching Covid.

Just got back from a cruise to Bimini. The cruise ships and the islands are not ready. It was not safe.
