Although Walt Disney World is on track to reopen the entire Resort as a whole, there are still a few establishments left closed.

Disney World has over 25 Resorts on property; however, when Disney reopened during the pandemic, not all Resorts reopened at the same time. Since July 2020, many Resorts have started to reopen; but, there are still a few that remain closed at this time.

Below, we will take a look at all the Disney World Resorts closed throughout the month of August.
Disney’s All-Star Resorts
At the moment, Disney’s All-Star Movies is available and open to Guests. However, Disney’s All-Star Music and Disney’s All-Star Sports are closed. All-Star Music will reopen on September 16 in time for the 50th anniversary celebrations, but All-Star Sports will be behind, opening on December 9.

You can make a Resort reservation for both Resorts at this time. It will be interesting to see if both Resorts reopen with all of their room renovations complete, as they were the last two of the Value Resorts to transform.
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort
Port Orleans is comprised of two individual Disney Resorts, Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter and Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside. Both Resorts have been closed, but will reopen in October. Riverside is set to reopen on October 14, with Port Orleans opening shortly after on October 28.

Much like the All-Star Resorts, Port Orleans can also be booked now.

Although there are no other Resorts that remain completely closed at this time like the ones listed above, there are many undergoing refurbishments. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort just reopened their Moana rooms; however, the monorail construction is ongoing. Disney’s Contemporary Resort is reimagining their Incredibles-themed rooms and first-floor lobby, much like Disney’s Old Key West Resort and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort.
