    “Less for more”

Is the unofficial motto of the Walt Disney Company

I think 🤔 that the annual pass for Disneyland resort ⛵ should include the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and the Royal Hall 💖😊😁😀☺️🤠🤠😸🙂😃🙂❤️💙💞💗💟😺😸🙂😃🙂❤️💙💜, once 🔂 the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is available for makeovers again and once 🔂 the Royal Hall is available for meet and greets with Ariel, Snow White and Cinderella again.

I am an out-of-state Disney Annual Pass holder from NH, so we pay much more for our Annual passes than Florida residents.
Annual Pass holders can only reserve 3 days at the parks, which makes the travel expenses unreasonable.
You’re better off without an Annual Pass is you live a distance away from Disney.
I’ve had Disney Annual Passes for many years, but with only 3 park reservations, it makes me feel like a second class Guest.

I feel that Disney Lost its “Magical Spell” that was cast upon you when you arrived at one of its “ONCE SPARKLING UNIQUE RESORTS”. Most of the ‘Special Effects” in the rooms as well as in all the parks have disappeared. Disney World Parks dropped its very high standards in the last couple of years in my opinion, and it’s very upsetting to know families will not experience the same high quality it once had. I never minded paying the price before, but a lot of downgrades came with the price increase. “NEW AND IMPROVED“ IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER.

We decided not to any pass. Too expensive with so little to make them worth wild.
Our destination has now changed…Lego Land, and other parks. We’ll bypass DL and Universal

Or you can see the Knott’s model where they give more for less. Those that bought passes while they were closed or had them before the closure got extended until May of next year. And they just recently started selling 2022 passes, which are valid all of 2021 (normally it would just have been one day for 2021) except December 17 through the 31st, but even for those dates they can pay $15 to get in. And all add-ons, such as food and drinks and such are valid for the applicable time frames as well.

Add in that renewing passholders get a ticket to bring a friend for free and Knott’s is continuing to outshine their competition, just as they have done during the entire pandemic.

I think the places that are giving less for more are going to find themselves in a bad spot in the long run.

I have the highest Disney pass, Dream for $1,400. But because of the reservation system I am unable to go today or tomorrow because apparently reservations are maxed out – even though my pass isn’t supposed to back any blackout days. And I understand blackout days and availability are two different thing, but the d signature plus pass I had for approximately the same amount never kept me out of the parks. I think Disney needs to rethink their reservation system.

When was the earliest you tried reserving today? Coz a lot of reservations woud’ve been cancelled by 11:59 last night (to prevent “no show” punishment). I’ve cancelled reservations before as late as 11:59pm. And I’ve reserved previously unavailable dates as early as 12:01am.

Was there today. The first time since buying the top tier pass when it became available last Weds.

First thing that you’ll notice when you get there is the obvious long walk you have to make from the parking structure to the front gate. Why? Coz Disneyland decided to stop using the tram during the pandemic. Not a good way to start your day (high in the 90s today). And not a good way to end the day when you have to make the same walk, but super tired after spending the whole day in the park.

So although we get free parking with the top tier, you have to make that walk until Disneyland decides to start using the tram again. Taking UBER might be cheaper vs. the total one would spend on parking a year.

I also wish Disneyland would consider some sort of family discount when it comes to multiple pass purchase. We live the no black out dates but my kids won’t be needing that free parking for another 10 years.

Other than that, today was the slowest Saturday I’ve ever seen in DLand. But I do miss that tram.

I retired from WDW 17 years ago and now it’s so expensive, I can’t justify paying so much to go, seems like now everything is an up charge.
