Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park is a tropical oasis at Walt Disney World Resort, featuring waterslides, a surf pool, a lazy river, and more. However, due to the ongoing pandemic and ongoing refurbishments, the water park remains closed to Guests.
The good news is that despite the water park looking deserted, activity has been spotted inside Typhoon Lagoon!
Bioreconstruct took to Twitter to share a series of aerial photos that show refurbishment continuing on Typhoon Lagoon, though, again, the water remains closed to the public.

The refurbishment on the surf pool also continues as bioreconstruct shared this aerial photo along with the caption:

As the water park remains closed to Guests, construction continues inside to ensure the rides and other elements are in tip-top shape before reopening to the public. Here is an aerial photo showing that there are multiple projects currently in progress:

Again, please keep in mind that at this time, due to the ongoing pandemic, Typhoon Lagoon remains closed, and a reopening date has yet to be announced. However, Inside the Magic will keep you updated as we get information regarding this Disney World water park.
