Guests are anxiously awaiting the day EPCOT debuts the brand-new Guardians-themed coaster — Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind!
And now, we have a closer look at the current work being done at the construction site thanks to bioreconstruct on Twitter!

Bioreconstruct (@bioreconstruct) took to Twitter to share several photos of the current construction at the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy-themed ride.
The first Tweet shows work being done in front of the attraction, which includes the foundation for a spaceship:

The upcoming roller coaster will be family-friendly and will offer exciting thrills with an innovative ride vehicle that offers 360-degree motion for riders.
Disney Park Blog described the innovative technology for this new attraction as:
Work also continues on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – the family-friendly “storytelling coaster” featuring a groundbreaking ride system with vehicles that rotate 360 degrees and can even do a reverse launch!
The Omnicoaster is a first- of-its-kind programmable roller coaster ride system, where guests can be rotated along the ride track in any direction while traveling at high speeds. The Omnicoaster name builds upon the tradition of the Omnimover ride system in which Walt Disney Imagineers are able to turn guests in any direction and focus their attention on a specific scene or element.
