Yes this is true what he said but Marvel is great in keeping his actors under shadow for preventing Spoiler Rolling out. And Spidey is a main character and Sony is slowly moving towards sinister six.

Tom Holland is the perfect spiderman and embodies the character like RDJ did for Tony Stark and Scarlett did for Natasha Romanoff. Just like them, no one can be Peter Parker like Tom and he is such a talented actor with how he has a background in dance and how he is so flexible. He truly is Spiderman
I’d like to see Holland take over Iron Man’s role so he can age up with that role.
I just doubt Disney will keep him as an actor in that role as Spiderman much longer. They have this issue where they think we all want 14 year old kids in these characters
If No Way Home is Spidermans exit from the MCU and Sony wont play ball, Disney/Marvel need to play hardball and take away merchandising (which they own the rights to) and if that dont work, Kill Spiderman off in the comics and erase him from the comic book universe (which they CAN do) Let Sony go it alone with live action and animation rights and see how far they get. And before you start screaming about much money Spiderman is worth, Profits from all other Spiderman rights can probably fill Disney land with Toilet paper for a month, The character probably account for 1/100 of a percent when it comes to Disneys profits. The only ones to lose are the fans.
