They really need to change the blasters to ones that aren’t fixed, like at Disneyland. I am not wild about the *spinning vortex room* either. The DLR version is a much better ride than WDW.
Don’t know about others but when we rode it back during the week before Easter it seemed as though the blasters were really restricted in terms of firing. There seemed to be no rapid fire.
I find it to be harder than Toy Story Mania. My adult kids expect me to turn the vehicle and fire. It’s good that you can turn it, but it adds an element of difficulty. I have not experienced the California ride. If it’s more enjoyable, maybe DIsney should consider bringing the California version to Florida.
Thank goodness they’re finally refurbishing this ride! But it needs more than a three day refurb. It needs a whole do-over. It’s been pretty much untouched for 23 years. They should at least remodel the blasters but that’s probably easier said than done. Regardless, glad to hear there’s a refurbishment coming up soon! Beggars can’t be choosers.
