Civil War is actually the worst Marvel movie ever made

    1. Ron

Wow do some research. No mention of Herb Trimpe, the actual artist of the book?

      1. Jules Badguy

Those terrible Fantastic 4 movies, Blade 3 and the embarrassing Age of Ultron movies are hot garbage

        1. Lu

I thought Howard the Duck was the worst marvel movie ever?

        2. The O

I blame Marvel for selling their rights over greed. They could’ve easily kept rights for screenplay.

      2. Cliff

Obviously written by someone who never saw Nick Fury: Agent of Shield staring David Hasselhoff

      3. Richard Ferrara

“The Wolverine” was 100 times worse than “origins” at least the latter had Liev Schreiber’s seriously threatening Sabretooth, a far cry from that cardboard cutout that portrayed him in the first FOX-Men atrocities!

  2. Seth

I guess nobody remembers the awful Ben Affleck Daredevil movie?

    1. Cliff

The directors cut actually males that movie pretty decent.

  3. Andrew

Ryan Reynolds comment about writing Deadpool’s dialog was a joke. Duh.

  4. Ry

I guess none of you have seen Howard the Duck.
It singlehandedly postponed the comic book movie craze for another 20 years or so.

  5. RP

Who is Robert Downing Jr.? And how can you say “all the films created by 20th Century Fox Studios” are on Disney+ when you present a list of the movies that are not?
And Daredevil (2003) is also among the Fox-produced Marvel movies not present on Disney*.
    Who wrote this terrible article?

    1. Karla Blakely

Is Daredevil Marvel or DC? Because I believe it’s DC

      1. ?

        Daredevil is Marvel

      2. Steve

I try to look at the movies as a whole. Just like the comics, there’s high points and stuff that’s just filler. I haven’t seen a Marvel movue(-Howard The Duck) that I absolutely hated. I DID hate Deadpool in Origins. Also the first Hulk flick with Eric Banna was beyond bad. But the others, even with their shortcomings, were ok for me. I’ve live through 40 years of multi-verses and alternate timelines to just chalk any differences or discrepancies up to that. But that being said, it’ll be hard to top Hugh as Wolvie. He MADE that character come to life for 20 years. No comparison.

  6. Local Man

I’d consider Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance to be a worse movie than Wolverine Origins. GRSoV had a dumb plot, poorly executed. Nick Cage overacted, ridiculous camera work, hard to watch. At least WO had some good parts.

  7. Richard Beeney

Most comic book movies were bad in the beginning. CGI is extremely important for showing special powers. Finding a director that likes comic books is important as well. And finally, business always destroys art. Amazing how often the directors cut is better than the cut the studio execs chose.

  8. Talkien

Please don’t write article if you don’t feel doing any research. XO:Wolverine isn’t even in the top 10. Most of MCU is pretty bad (Civil War, Ultron, GotG 2, any Thor or Spider-man film).

    BUT 10 worst films are:
    Man-Thing
    Captain America (1990s)
    Ghost Rider 2
    Elektra
    Hulk
    Daredevil (the theatrical version)
Fantastic four (any of the four of them)
Punisher (any of those, though 1989 is a guilty pleasure of mine)
Howard the Duck (another guilty pleasure)
Nick Fury AoS (I’m life long ‘Hoff fan… so another sad GP)

    1. Donald Quarnstrom

Thanks for including the captain America 1990s.

    2. deucezulu

Ya, none of the MCU movies you mentioned are bad by general consensus.

By your claims the MCU would of never survived.

  9. Jim

Sure, X-Men Origins: Wolverine wasn’t very good but the worst? Both Hulk movies and Dark Phoenix were all way worse.

    1. Ygor Cortes

Dark Phoenix is MUCH better, it’s not even a comparison.

  10. Mystic

    Worst? Talk about hyperbolic.
XO: Wolverine isn’t even in the same stratosphere of terrible as this dumpster fire of an article. Grammar mistakes, poor sentence construction, factual errors, misspelled names, conflicting statements…be careful when casting aspersions on others. Because writing is clearly not for you.

  11. Jason Remigio III

Ryan Reynolds ruins every movie he stars in by taking over the Director and Screenwriter project by changing the film the way he wants it. Of course, it didn’t do well it was Ryan Reynolds. He did the same to Green Lantern.

    1. Batman

All has there points and opinions. Which we all should. As for the article, hold on I gotta take a leak. Ah.. all done. Look every movie can/will have errors & mistakes. That my friends is “Inevitable”. Don’t think I need to point out why. (Talkien good list and research, I myself do remember all of those. Add in Swampthing.. lol)

      Few quick points:
      1) In Xmen (2000) why is Iceman not in it? (I know why but this is the point of big screen and capturing the whole audience not the MCU nerds)
      2) Why is Gambit in none of the Xmen movies? (Yes i know he was in Wolverine Origins but Im talking about Xmen movies)
      3) How do you make a movie like Endgame and have NO XMEN in it? (That is just SHAMEFUL and disrespectful to the Marvel lifeline.)

      Continue on….

    2. Matt Mosher

Ryan Reynolds wasn’t the star and only added some of his standard trademark sarcasm. He didn’t ruin the movie. They didn’t need his help to do that. Making an all encompassing statement like that and then giving one example is weak. Most super hero movies are total garbage and need no help from him to suck. Wouldn’t matter who was in Green Lantern. It was trash long before it got to the theater. That trend will continue as they dig deep for any superhero bs they can squeeze a couple bucks out of no matter how rediculous or obscure it is.

  12. Mack

Apparently everyone here was born yesterday because anyone who thinks these very modern movies qualify as the “Marvel movies” haven’t seen those Godawful Spiderman and Captain America movies from the late 70s or 80s. How about Dolph Lundrens turn as the Punisher? Anyone here seriously going to say any one of those is in any way better than a modern day X-men or Avenger movie?? Give me a break with this bs about how all these other super slick, movies are the “worst ever” compared to those early marvel P.O.S.’s

“Worst Marvel Movie Ever Makes the Cut for Disney+”

Captain Marvel has been here since the beginning.

  14. The Origin story for Logan was already out ,just use that but no, that would have been way too easy. Instead, lets see how many mutants we can put in a film with No real direction, The only Good thing was Remy, the actor nailed the character and should of had his own movie

  15. Tony L Beckam

Not for nothing, but X-Men Origins: Wolverine was my favorite X-Men movie.

  16. Anand Chand

    Hi
Worse movie I’ve seen so far was the New Mutants and for me personally XM wolverine wasn’t the worst movie for me or everyone else.

I will forever be grateful to Origins, for introducing Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson. I believe the scene of him with the Katana reflecting bullets, spark people’s, who doesn’t know of Deadpool, interest. So for me, it wasn’t all that bad.

  17. D

You’re joking right??? Lmfao! The Deadpool character that was Simon Kinberg. Let’s talk about Simon Kinberg’s F4 and how horrible that was. I liked Origins it was one of the better films from that studio anything that Simon Kinberg attached his name too, was terrible. The earlier X-Men movies where they killed off Cyclops? WTF were they thinking?

  18. Steve

I spend a lot of time on the internet, but this is the worst-written article I’ve seen in a long time. Forget the premise of the article – who cares at this point. I’d just like to go more than 3 sentences without having entire words and phrases missing. Spell check? What’s that? Editing and proofreading are obviously something from the ancient past. There are some sentences that I can’t even figure out what the author was *trying* to say. I had to triple check and make sure this wasn’t some auto-generated spam site.

Come on. Take some small amount of pride in your work. This is just awful.
