As more people across the country get vaccinated and life slowly returns to normal, Disneyland is joining Walt Disney World Resort in easing some of the restrictions they’ve had in place since re-opening after the pandemic. One of the biggest things is that starting June 15, out-of-town Guests will be allowed to visit both Disneyland and California Adventure Park. (Previously, the parks were only open to in-state residents.)

But that’s not the only thing that will change at Disneyland on June 15. An update on the official website also states that Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel plans to re-open on that date, with reduced capacity. As for other hotels, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa began its phased reopening on April 29 and Disneyland Hotel plans to re-open with reduced capacity July 2.

Ready for more things happening on June 15? Temperature checks will no longer be required, which is a big step in regard to how long it takes to enter the theme parks or the Downtown Disney District.

It seems that as the summer gets underway, Disneyland Resort is definitely looking to increase capacity and get things back on a more normal schedule — especially with the opening of Avengers Campus. It is, however, important to note that a capacity increase has not been officially confirmed at this time.

Every step Disney is taking seems to indicate that they’re heading towards the next phase of Disneyland Resort’s reopening process. We previously reported that more Disneyland restaurants are preparing to re-open soon. The Disney Parks Blog shared that Oga’s Catina is opening again, as well as the following restaurants:

Tiki Juice Bar (mobile order available) – Opening June 17
Docking Bay Food & Cargo (mobile order available) – Opening June 17
Alien Pizza Planet (mobile order available) – Opening June 17
Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante – Opening June 17
Candy Palace – Currently making Nuttles (chopped pecan pieces layered with freshly made caramel with a dollop of milk chocolate on top) on Monday and Friday
