I’ve loved this movie since I first saw it at our local Drive-In theater, when I was 11 years old. I was blown away by the art, music and a plot about a sensitive outcast that really resonated with me being a “weird” kid in a small Kentucky town.
I’m not excited for a remake. Most of the new Disney live-action remakes have been largely underwhelming, pathetically pandering, milquetoast versions of their animated originals.

I remember the theater audience’s reaction to “Singing gargoyles”, and “Amazing” wasn’t it.
