Holy crap that is expensive and wow those are slim pickings on nights to go! Real talk; I can afford the tickets for when we go in October, but I do wonder is it worth it for that price considering I already paid for a park ticket for the day we would go to Boo Bash. Further, this is way too much money for many people, especially with larger families, and those who already purchased a park ticket for the same day as the Boo Bash event. Best of luck to everyone who is trying for a ticket! God speed!
I agree Brooklyn. I will be there in October, and when I consider my family of 8 for such few hours and what is available with the event, it priced me out.
We will be there at the end of October. Even though the ticket prices are very expensive, in my opinion, we have plans to go on Halloween, if we can get the tickets. We have a split stay at Pop and Animal Kingdom Lodge. We’ll be at Pop on Halloween. I’m hoping Pop is one of the select resorts on the list for early ticket purchases, or possibly a DVC member early purchase date. If not, we may not be able to snag tickets, Halloween night will be a very popular ticket I bet.
Mickeys not so scary in the past has not been this expensive. I would love to go but as someone who is local. I would never pay those prices to go to an event like that. Especially a 3 hour one that isn’t offering everything that usually comes with it. Disney you really need to get a grip on reality!!!
I’m getting the Universal Halloween Horror Nights ticket for less than that and I can go every night from August through Halloween if I decide to. Its always worth the money!!
Disney you really need to get a grip on reality!! It has NEVER been this expensive and that was for the full event. 1000 plus tax for my family for a 3 hour event is out of the question. Instead we will be getting the Universal Halloween Horror Nights ticket that is cheaper than that and we can go all we want from August through Halloween.
Yeah this is getting ridiculous… offer 50% less of an experience than Mickey’s not so scary,(No fireworks, No show, No parade, less time in park / experiences) and charge 50% more. Ummmm wow who was in charge of making that call and actually thinking it’s a good idea. Then factor in amazing $10 AP discount… just sad to see what is becoming normal..
It could be that Disney, mistakenly, rationalized the ticket cost because people will pay $75 plus for a Fireworks Dessert party that lasts maybe 45 to 60 minutes… without rides, but offering an actually seat for the fireworks, woopie. We did the Dessert parties at MK and EPCOT, but not after they jacked tbose prices up too. I think Disney believes that the majority of “guests” will pay anything for a perk. Or people that can’t get a Park Resservations to get into a park will shell out this much money.Even a poor, money grabbing perk like the Boo Bash. Even the old Princess and Pirates parties offered more, for less money.
