Waited on hold for 2 hours to be told they arent selling any more tickets tonight at 10pm and I can call back tomm at 7 am. Where on the on hold message did you say that. Guess my time is NOT important. Despicable!!!! I’ll take my hotel reservation and money to universal for Horror Nights where passholders and guests and treated 100 times better. No point in staying on property with no perks.
I tried all day starting at 7am. Got through tonight and told they stopped selling at 9pm est. Thanks for wasting my time. Guess i just keep trying all day every day until I can get through.
I think this is actually worse than Cedar Fair or Six Flags…never thought I would say that. Whoever is in charge of this debacle should be demoted to parking detail. What a complete joke to make people call in and then have 1 person answering phones…c’mon. Dammit, it shouldn’t be this hard! As John Wayne said “Life’s tough, it’s even tougher when your stupid”…nice job Disney.
I called in at 7am et and was on hold for 1 hour and 30 minutes when I talked to a cast member and got my tickets. You have to stay patient and wait on hold. Every time you hang up and call back you get dropped to bottom.
I completely understand what you are saying, but I am not know for patience…especially when dealing with stupidity. It’s ironic that Disney keeps pushing technology for everything (think about how great mobile ordering works when. It’s busy at the parks), but then you need to call to get these tickets? That’s the frustrating part. Someone higher up needs a good kick in the crotch for this fiasco. I did score tickets b/c my kid wants to go, and it was less than 10 minutes start to finish.
I have also been trying since 7am and can’t get thru. If Disney was not going to allow buying online then why does it say that you would be able to buy them online. Very frustrated
I finally got through and was able to purchase my tickets. I had continuously re-dialed for 6 1/2 hours before getting into a holding pattern with Disney. I was on hold for almost 2 hours before reaching a cast member.
I can’t even find the phone number to call, and Disney seems to have removed pretty much all access to anything related to this event. I got to the event page through a back door link but there is no information there about purchasing tickets and you can’t navigate to this page.
I was told last week when I spoke with customer service rep that I could purchase Boo Bash tickets starting today. I told the rep we were staying at Swan Hotel and she said yes that hotel was on list to purchase starting today. My daughter in law calls this morning to purchase for all of us and now telling her our hotel not on list.
I’ve been calling since 7am and was finally able to get through 11 hours later. Now I’m waiting on hold, 20 mins in for what they quoted as a 1.5 hour wait for the next available cast member
After 4 hours of calling, I got through. On hold for 2 hours, music changed to “it’s a small world” then disconnected after the song. Heart is officially broken.
Started at 7:20 with numerous attempts to get a line. At 7:35 connected to a Disney line and informed wait was 162 minutes. At 11:10, a real live cast member came on the line (215 min later/3 hr 35 min) and I was able to order my tickets and she stayed on the line with me until I could link these tickets to myDisneyexperience successfully.
Why did information state that tickets could be ordered online?
First if you are crazy enough to pay 120-200 for a ticket. You deserve to stay on hole. First they are not selling them until the 15th. And that is to a/p holder and Disney vacation club members. Disney just loves you people for spending al you money there.
This is inaccurate. Tickets went on sale for visitors with resort reservations yesterday morning (6/8). Those of us with reservations received an email several days ago stating that we could purchase tickets on 6/8, and that info was also posted on the Boo Bash web page. But then we called we could not get through. Several people have posted that they were successful getting tickets so obviously they were, in fact, on sale.
I got through and had another great experience with Disney. Yes the wait time was long, but I know on the first day of ticket purchase for an event we couldn’t have because the pandemic it was going to be a bit chaotic.
Got an email from my TA informing me that they could not purchase Boo Bash tickets for since my reservation was DVC. So I started calling DVC and after numerous attempts got through and was on hold for about 1 hour and got my tickets for 10/31.
You are paying higher prices for less….waiting on hold for what? You are enabling the ridiculous behavior and allowing them to continue to overcharge families for high priced limited entertainment. No thank you.
I got lucky I guess. I’ve also registered for enough disney half marathons to know how crazy it can be! So I was over paranoid, but turns out I was prepared. I had 2 phones that started calling at 4am on the west coast. I got a line in 15 min. I was on hold for 3.5 hours but then got a cast member and bought my halloween night ticket. Me and the cast member just laughed about how that was the longest disney line I’d ever been it.
I remember when Disney used the “Be Our Guest” hospitality, and when the best service was always compared to Disney. It feels awkward how the Pandemic has become a way for Disney to let go of the policies that made them so loved by so many.Even a Giant can fall. It’s embarrassing that they are not staffed for the demand.I held an Annual Pass for 28 years the program was understandably halted. I am still waiting for our refunds and wait over 2 hours each time I call only to be told I’m in the Queue.A new overly used word .Going virtual and eliminating Hospitality will cause this Giant to fall. It’s sad all of us really appreciate how Universal Studios can recognize the importance of their source of income.
Well at least they are having Boo Bash when you are going, My family is going Sept 25 – Oct 1st, and there is not one date it will be held in that week. It seems to be a week they skipped.
After 3 hours waiting I got my tickets for Sep 3. Super nice cast member did the process in less than 15 minutes but she told me they are receiving numerous calls so be patient. The magic is always waiting….I used the line 407 939 4240
After being on hold for 2 hours yesterday (being told tickets were done being sold for the day) and calling every Disney number possible since 4 AM our time (7 AM eastern time) and being on hold for 2 hours today, we secured tickets for our family of three for Halloween night! It was nerve racking, but we actually did it!
PS: the cast member said as of today, no dates have sold out yet!
I have absolutely no sympathy for anyone trying to buy tickets that are so outrageously overpriced that it should be illegal!!! These people are so stupid and gullible they probably voted for Trump.

Been dialing since 5 am mountain time. Laughing. Is the park experience any better than this. Thinking that I shouldn’t count on it.

You for sure should not.

How crazy is it that only a few years ago Disney wasn’t a raging dumpster fire.

Trying all day – finally got put on hold at 2 p.m. and just finished purchasing 3 for September. Horrible wait, but wonderful cast member

Nothing like grown adults crying over not getting tickets for a children’s event. Get a grip, people.
