I bought a Tier 5 ticket and kept checking and checking for a week to make a reservation for July 17, 2021. I’m glad it didn’t happen. Now that they have opened the park to out of state visitors after June 15 (including those from southern states with abysmally low vaccination rates and refusing to wear masks) and do not require vaccination, I no longer feel as safe as when it was open for California residents only (who are widely vaccinated and also took to wearing masks wholeheartedly). I will have to pass on July 17 this year; I wish I could get my money back.
