This week, Disneyland announced that they would be allowing out-of-state Guests to once again visit The Happiest Place on Earth beginning June 15. That announcement came after the state of California said that it would be fully open and removing all pandemic protocols on that date — including mask mandates and capacity limits for all venues. These changes mean that Guests will be traveling from all over the country to come to the Southern California theme park.

With the influx of Guests from across the country and around the world, Disney is continuing to motivate Guests and Cast Members to continue to receive their COVID-19 vaccination. The Disneyland Cast and Community Instagram account sent out words of encouragement:

“I got vaccinated because I wanted to make sure those around me were safe, especially my loved ones.” – Victor, Food & Beverage, Disney California Adventure Park

On May 7, Disneyland President Ken Potrock announced that Disneyland would be opening two locations at the Disneyland Resort for Cast Members and their families to begin to receive their COVID-19 vaccinations. Both the Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are available. This will allow more than 15,000 Cast Members and their families to receive the vaccine.

Potrock also recently took to Instagram to share more stories about Cast Members taking advantage of the vaccine sites and become vaccinated against COVID-19:

Last week I stopped by Cast Health Services and the Pharmacy for Living Well where I met Kenny who was receiving a COVID-19 vaccination. Thanks to our amazing Health Services team for providing this convenient option. We’re also pleased to continue to help our community fight the virus by offering COVID-19 vaccines for Cast Members, their families and friends at the Disneyland Hotel. #GetTheShot

Disneyland will continue to offer the COVID-19 vaccinations to its Cast Members until June 30. While Disneyland does not require its Guests to receive the COVID-19 vaccination at this time, it does encourage all visitors to receive their shots, or at least test negative for COVID, before visiting the Southern California theme park.
