We are 60 days out on our rescheduled cruise from 2020. Up until now, Disney has indicated that they would be ready to go as soon as the CDC agreed it was safe. But now, for the second time I have to disappoint my grandchildren. What happened to their claims that they would lead the cruise industry in getting back to cruising ASAP? When I called after this recent cancellation I was told they “might” start cruising again in September. How is a family supposed to plan? So now we are looking at NEXT summer when the kids will be out of school. If Disney is cancelling through July 31st what happened to August sailings? My grandchildren don’t care about a 125% credit.
The CDC has separate guidelines and requirements for cruise ships that are different from the public mask guidelines for vaccinated individuals. Because of the indoors close quarters, the cruise lines have a lot of prep work. Your article is really misleading.
