I always figured it was out of respect for Han and the Falcon and also symbolism of Lando’s cause to rescue him. I’ll stick with that thanks.

Know Star Wars? Lando wore Han’s white shirt/Black Vest outfit in Return of the Jedi, NOT Empire!

  3. It was Lando’s ship… why wouldn’t it just be Lando’s clothes that Han stole…

A- as mentioned in the article, not his style.
B- if you moved into a new house and the old owner left behind a bunch of clothes, would those clothes still be in your house years later? Or would you toss them out immediately?

Desternillante e hilarante. Es evidente que este tipo que escribio esta infamia no puede tener ni 30 años. Imposible que viera la trilogía original. Vemos a Lando en el episodio VI y no en el V. ¡Qué triste!

I just assumed he did it for similar reasons that Luke stole Leia’s panties. ??‍♂️ Love is love & it wasn’t my place to judge, so I never really questioned it at the time.

Long long ago, I read it was a common outfit wore by smugglers from the Corellian Corps. That’s why it looks slightly different from Han’s, which btw it’s not clear how clothing is acquired in Star Wars universe anyway.

  6. Better question would be : why on earth was Lando in “Rise of Skywalker” wearing the same clothes as he would have been wearing at least 50 years earlier in “Solo”, and not his Cloud City get up from The Empire Strikes Back? Bit weird. And stinky.
I would guess the answer is “cos look, this is Disney Star Wars now, and any weird crap we make up no matter how little coherent sense it makes is cannon, got that, toxic man baby…?” ?
