A half-a-pound cookie can sound like a lot to people. And, let’s be honest, that is one massive cookie. Some people may want to try the delicious concoction but are worried about how they will finish it. For those Guests, Gideon’s Bakehouse has come up with a mouth-watering — and chocolate-y — solution. Introducing Gideon’s Bites!
The Bakehouse shared the new bites with its Instagram followers:
Bites!!!! They make their grand appearance in Gideon’s at @DisneySprings today! What are Bites, you ask? We take an entire Gideon’s Cookie, cut it into four pieces, hand dip each piece in high-quality chocolate, and sprinkle on a bit more Cookie toppings! They are perfect with a Gideon’s Brewhouse Cold Brew Coffee. The Chocolate Coating locks the freshness, so they are great for travel. Bites are the next level for those who appreciate a Gideon’s Cookie. Quick grab prepackaged bags are now available at both locations while supplies last. Each bag contains five Bites, one of each core flavor: Chocolate Chip, Triple Chocolate, Cookies & Cream, Peanut Butter Crunch, and Pistachio Toffee Chocolate Chip. – Bites are a whole new experience, so if you’re new to us, this isn’t a sample pack to our full Cookies. They’re the next step in richness, if you think you’re ready.
The smaller Bites are a new take on Gideon’s classic cookies. They allow Guests to not only easily transport the cookies back to their Disney Resort hotel rooms, but also try each of the classic flavor cookies that Gideon’s Bakehouse has to offer! What also makes these amazing cookies different is that Guests get the traditional cookie, but chocolate-covered and topped with even more cookie-topping deliciousness!
These new Bites are currently available to purchase on their own or in a prepackaged set of five.
Guests need to note that all treats at Gideon’s Bakehouse, including the Bites, are sold on a first-come-first-serve basis. There is also a limit to 6 cookies per Guest.
At Disney Springs, formerly Downtown Disney, Guests can also get their hands on the incredibly popular Coffee Cake Cookie, which is now being sold every morning. According to the Walt Disney World website:
The ever-popular Coffee Cake Cookie, previously only available one month a year, will be on sale every morning. And each evening, you can indulge in a Hot Cookie Hour to cure your sweet tooth after dinner. Gideon’s is also known for secret Limited Edition first come first serve desserts, offering you fun and unique surprises throughout the year.
While Gideon’s Bakehouse is known for their over the top cookies, they also sell coffee to complement their cookies, as well as incredible-looking cakes! Cakes are also served on a first-come-first-serve basis and look like the perfect centerpiece for any party.
While the flagship store for Gideon’s Bakehouse is located in Disney Springs, locals can also preorder cakes and cookies to be picked up at their East End Market location in Orlando.
Gideon’s at Disney Springs location is currently open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1o p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
