I’ve been stuck in this recalculate view for the last 30 minutes and now back to the approximate waiting time of more than an hour. I logged in at 9:30 am this morning….
I have been on since 6 am and I still have a wait time of “more than an hour”. I dont know what time those that got tickets logged on but I hope it was earlier than me at least.
I joined the queue at 10am and was let in 12 hours later. After confirming my dates, I put four 2-day park hopper passes into my cart and proceeded to check out. I was given the option to sign in and that’s when the trouble began! After filling in my info, I was asked to check the box to agree to the T&C. Every time I clicked “done”, the page would refresh with an error message that claimed i hadn’t agreed to the T&C… and the box was unchecked. I repeated the process at least 10 times.. checking the box, only to have it unchecked. It finally redirected me to the waiting room page… back to square one.
Why would you possibly sit in a website for 12 hours for a ticket to anything, let alone a theme park? That is absolutely ridiculous. I don’t care how much of a “fan” you are, that is ludicrous.
I logged on to the website at 6 am. My approximate wait time has stated at “More than an hour”. I hope that those that were able to get tickets logged in earlier than me because that is incredibly frustrating.
I got on 630 was on hold and put in a qroom yo make park reservations but no tickets, TWICE. So i had to go another way and now im just waiti bgg on a park reservation more then an hour because i ended up getting tickets from a local hotel
I’d recommend opening tab for each thing you want to do and entering the waiting Room for each that way you already are on the wait list because once I got my tickets I had to enter the waiting Room again for a different reservation system And for the hotel.
I entered the pre-queue at 7:30 AM PST and am still at a wait time of over an hour. This is after it went to “recalculating” for about an hour. I’m pretty ready to give up.
I was in the waiting room for about an hour and bought our family tickets successfully. But have been in the reservation waiting room for now 4 hours and still says more than an hour wait !
I got into the queue at 8:00 a.m. it said do not back page or refresh you are in the queue and you won’t lose your spot. consistently said your wait is more than one hour and then it went to recalculating and then it went back to more than 1 hour and then it popped up 47 minutes time ticked down from then my turn came at about 1:50 p.m. and I was able to purchase my tickets and make my reservation with no problems of what so ever. Were going to Disneyland!!
Was in the queue at 630. Got in and it directed me NOTto buy tickets but schedule a date, ok cool. Nope i couldnt becauae i didnt have tickets and there was no button to purchase tickets, on simple button is all it would have taken and that button would let you to buy them right away. I know they cant accomedate everyone but i had to go to undercover tourists to get tickets but now it looks likeni went in after 10am( or close to it)
I am also waiting for my purchase of tickets to go through, don’t know if there is an issue and I should try again, or there are lots of people waiting, the reservation of days has no wait. started at 3:00pm and its 11:15pm now.
Logged on at 7:49am and am still waiting in the queue five hours later. Approximate wait time went from more than an hour to recalculating, and now it says more than an hour again. Super frustrating as I’ve seen other people report that they logged on later than I did and were able to get tickets hours ago.
I had been waiting since 9 am PST and at 8 PM PST I gave up. I NEVER refreshed, I was working and just had it open on another tab. Seriously so ridiculous.
I eventually logged in around 9:15am. I bought tickets 13 hours later. I’m now told I have a 45 minute wait until I can make a reservation. I could’ve been fine hours ago if my first attempt at 8:10am hadn’t failed.
Absolutely ridiculous! First they take our annual passes away and now they make it next to impossible to buy tickets! I’ve been in the Q since 7am today and the page went from you’re in line to more than hour, to recalculating to more than an hour again with no change in status!
Logged in at 7:30 am this morning and still waiting. Recalculated about an hour and a half ago. Still says more than an hour wait. Getting tired watching the little rollercoaster go round and round on the site!
I logged in at 7:40am and it’s now 5pm with absolutely no luck. Still shows I have “More than an hour” even after the hour of recalculating. I’m invested now…can’t give up!
Same sentiment here. In queue for going on six hours with no change, never even saw “recalculating”, just “more than an hour”. No way to tell if the page is even still connected to their server. It would have been a nice gesture to have some means of acknowledging the former AP holders, perhaps another wave in between previous day ticket holders and full access.
Doesn’t bode well for the latest management that once again we’re seeing the “our servers are overloaded” cop-out response. Disney had over a year to prepare for this and could bank on the mass of people that would hit their site on reopening.
Don’t use your cell phone or wifi on your computer. Plug in and you wait won’t be so long. Wifi and cell networks blip, you’ve now lost your place in line
I got on about 8:05. It said the wait over an hour comment. About an hour and 10 minutes later a time of 58 minutes popped up. I guess I was one of the lucky ones because it went right through to purchasing tickets. Then when I went to reservations only 2 days were left to choose from which were the exact day I wanted. I feel extremely lucky looking at all these comments.
I signed on at 7:30am, took 5 1/2 hours to get into the cart. Purchased tickets and they charged my card. No tickets, no park reservations and cart still has tickets in there. Called the Disney number, on hold for 2 hours before I got disconnected! ????
So I have no idea if I have tickets, no email showing there are tickets.
Waiting since 7:30 am this morning. Was able to buy tickets 15 minutes ago at 2:30 pm. Now cannot make reservation. In queue again to make a reservation. Says over an hour wait. Very frustrating. Doing it for grand kids so will hang in there.
I’ve been in queue since ~7am. It is now 2:55pm. I’m starting to doubt my place in line. Honorary Citizens of Disneyland should not have to wait this long, just saying.
Hey Guys….Hang in there! I’ve been waiting since 8am and was able to purchase tickets just now. One thing to note is that when it’s your turn, it will ask you to log into the Disney website. From there you will only see a theme reservation link. In order to purchase tickets, you have to open a new tab and visit the Disney website again to purchase your tickets where it will then be linked to your account. After that, you can go back to your original tab and make your reservations. The process isn’t very clear cut and a little confusing so hope this helps….
Is there a link where it says to click to buy tickets and then brings you to a new page? I’m just confused on exactly where on the site you can buy tickets.
It took 17 hours start to finish for me. My successful start was at 9:15am. I had to get reservations on the safari browser because Stitch didn’t like Chrome or IE.
I signed on at 8:00AM, got to reservations around 9:30, but then had issues purchasing tickets as the site kept redirecting me to the Before you go info page. I opened another tab on my browser, googled purchase Disneyland tickets and was able to purchase tickets. I kept the reservation tab open so I wouldn’t get booted out. After that, it was pretty smooth then making reservations and linking tickets.
There is no “place in line” I log on on my computer at 6:45. Then log on on my IPad at 7:00. Then my phone shortly after. My IPad was the first to get in any about 8:00.
We got tickets to the park. Too a real long time for the ticket sale to “process” but it did eventually complete. However, selecting dates to go was been more problematic since we had to get back into the queue and then got suck in wait limbo…
I had no issues, got into the queue at about 8am pacific time and waiting for about 10 minutes, got 4 tickets and a park reservation and was done by 8:30am
I got tickets through get away today, and had been in the reservation queue since about 9. Still says approximate wait time more than an hour. It is now 4 PM and still in queue to get reservations.
I’ve been waiting for 7+hours getting the wait, recalc, etc. but never any wait time in minutes. Anyway, this message just popped up @ 4:02 PST –
Thank you for your continued patience!
Due to high demand, this is taking longer than expected. We have a lot of Guests accessing our system, so you are now in a waiting room to plan your park visit.
Do not refresh the page or select the “back” button.
Approximate Wait Time
more than an hour
Message last updated: 4:02 PM PT
We are experiencing high demand given the historic nature of the Disneyland Resort’s reopening. To deliver a strong Guest experience, we are deliberately pulsing Guests through the system and, therefore, wait times may be several hours or more depending on when you joined the queue. We still have plenty of reservation availability, and we plan to keep the system open throughout the night to accommodate the demand. Please don’t refresh and we will get you through the queue as soon as we can. We know you are just as excited to return to the Disneyland Resort as we are to welcome you back, and we thank you for your patience as we work to accommodate as many Guests as possible.
I’m so confused. I’ve been waiting in this queue since 8am and it’s now 4pm…and it’s frustrating because people who have been waiting less time have gotten tickets and reservations. Now I hear that buying tickets on the site is more confusing and sets you back for reservations. I just want to buy tickets. This queue thing was so stupid. They should have done like a sign up and then given you a time to buy and set up a reservation.
I was in queue since this morning and it finally started giving me a countdown at 230pm so I purchased the tickets but then when I went to do the reservations it sent me back to the queue screen so I tried to just refresh the page where my tickets were and said page was lost and stitch ate it! Some people got lucky after tickets could get reservations in the same time but looks like the rest of us didn’t.
Took exactly 6 hours – my husband got in the queue at 8 and we got tix at 2, just missing out on opening day. I got in the queue at 7 and my phone still says “more than an hour”!
Factor the time you’ve been waiting (your time is valuable) into the price of your tickets. You’d think with the amount of time Disney had to get this system up and running it would have been fully stressed tested, functional, and scalable at launch. This sounds like the same experience trying to order Candlelight Vigil tickets — 14 years ago! Disney’s outsourced IT is not…”magical”.
can we pick another date when we reserve? but based on the tier we previously picked? Or does it have to the exact day you put when purchasing the tickets?
Logged on at 6:30am, got into the queue at 8. I believe it was like a lottery there was no lining up order because people that came in after me got tickets. Around 11am the site said “recalculating” then by 12:15pm it went back to “more than an hour” wait. I got frustrated snd was about to give up, but I just exited the tab the queue was on and went back to a new queue and it ended up said 38 minutes for wait time, then I finally got the tickets at 2pm. Good luck everyone!! It’s just disappointing that it’s a lottery pick of who proceeds. Just hang in there it will happen!!
I’m finally to the purchase ticket page but it won’t let me purchase. It keeps charging my credit card but then Refunding and saying some details are not correct. I don’t understand what is happening. So frustrating!
I waited for 8 hours. During the last hour, I got a countdown in minutes. When my turn came up, I was able to easily purchase the tickets and get our first choice for our reservation. Hang in there. It’ll be worth the wait.
I was able to buy ticket and make a reservation but not book a room. I was sent back into the queue when I tried. Five hours later and I’m still in the queue…
I finally got to the purchase page and ordered my tix after 9 hours – I entered queue at 8 am… however, it’s stuck on a page with Woody on it saying, “please wait while we process your request” buffering (for an hour) so no clue if the tix were actually purchased or what to do now. Has this happened to anyone?
Waiting in queue since 730pm am….its now 7:13pm. 12 hours. Still says “more than an hour”. Also now has update from 4:14pm stating they are pulsing guests in waves. OMG… just trying to get my son a 5th birthday gift. S.O.S. ….HELP…. internet gods help this process along please!
Saw somebody say they bought tickets from a hotel…. wish I knew how/where to go that route!!!
Go to area travel. They are legit, I booked through them today. They gave me a $28 discount for each ticket! I linked them to my Disney account and they were validated. I am currently in queue to make the reservations but at least you’ll have tickets!
Logged in at 7:15 AM to make a reservation, currently it’s 7:34 PM and my all my screen has said ALL DAY is more than an hour. I understand it’s busy but this is ridiculous.
Been in the queue since 10am (pst). It is 7:42pm now and still over an hour wait… they should get some tips from Coachella or TicketMaster b/c this is horrible..
I logged on at 8 am, finally got our tickets in the cart at 1045 and the system glitched and logged me out before I could buy. I finally got back on around 1145 to finish checkout and then put me back into queue to make park reservation and I’m still waiting and its 8 pm. This is so rediculous! Now I have tickets but can’t even reserve the day to go to the park. So frustrating. Why couldn’t they just sell me the tickets at the same time as reserving a park, its that simple.
This is ridiculous! I purchased tix at 9:30 this morning and am still in the queue to make a reservation at 9:30pm! Why did it ask me what day I wanted when I bought the tix? Now the date I chose is not available! This should be a one step process!
It took 10 hours but I finally got my tickets. From there, it was easy to reserve dates for the two day tickets. As of 6:30 this evening, all dates were open except for opening day, Saturday, May 1st and Saturday, May 8th. Even Memorial Day weekend was wide open for both parks. Good luck… it took forever but got’em!
Been waiting since 11am for ticket buying and it is now 8:31pm. I’m dreading after I hopefully get my tickets to make a reservation. 🙁 This blows but I love Disneyland and will wait. It’s worth it!!
I waited 12+ hours (having tickets already) to reserve the theme park dates, only to get the Stitch message “someone ate the page” repeatedly for 30 minutes and then I got KICKED out of the queue!!!! Now I am back in line starting over from scratch. Ugh.
I logged in at 7am and was able to purchase tickets at 530pm. Reservation was actually quite easy for me I was disconnected from the internet throughout the day and I’m thinking that’s why I was in queue for so long.
I logged on at 7:45 am and at 8:00 am I got the wait message saying my wait time was over an hour. By 9:30 am I got in and was able to purchase my tickets and make my reservations.
Update: It took 12 hours to get my tickets and reservation was easy peasy. You are directed to reserve your day after you purchase your tickets. I didn’t have to wait any longer. So thankful for that. Whew! What a long day of waiting. But so happy I got my tickets!! Disneyland, we are coming!!! 2021 ? Don’t give up everybody, you’ll get your chance to get tickets!!
Entered waiting room at 7:15am waited all day at about 9:30pm started counting down. Was sitting here waiting at 29 minutes literally looking at the screen and my wait time randomly changed to more than an hour again. Wth Disneyland?!
Signed on around 4pm thinking the morning rush would be over. It’s now going on 12:30 am April 16.Still says Approximate wait time more than an hour.It has never changed.Still waiting not sure if it will connect as the train still keeps going around the mountain over & over & over & over etc……. the ticketing & reservation system is worse than Ticketmaster.
Started waiting at 8am. Finally got to purchase around 8pm. Waited again from 8pm-1am to make reservation, only to see Stitch’s “someone ate the page!”. I don’t know exactly what that means. So frustrating. Been waiting for 17 hours now. I’m getting tired.
I was able to purchase 2 tickets but not a make a reservation. I clicked on all the dates it showed Disneyland is open and a page popped up with Stitch saying “Sorry, someone ate the page!” Why are they selling tickets if there are no dates left to make a reservation??
You may need to copy/paste the link into another browser. That worked for me on safari. Also, I read that other people opened a different browser and logged out and logged back inc and that worked for them.
I was able to get tickets after 91/2 hours of waiting.
Then it took me 81/2 hours to get my park reservations. My dates were still available so I’m ready to go! Can’t wait! ?
I was in the queue for 9 hours and finally was able to purchase tickets. Probably could have just waited to buy some today, but it was my day off so why not take the challenge & try. 🙂
Has anyone else had a problem purchasing the tickets? I get in to purchase but when it’s time to check out I continue to get an error message. All the information is correct but still no luck, I’ve tried at least a dozen times.

K
I got into the queue at 8:00 a.m. it said do not back page or refresh you are in the queue and you won’t lose your spot. consistently said your wait is more than one hour and then it went to recalculating and then it went back to more than 1 hour and then it popped up 47 minutes time ticked down from then my turn came at about 1:50 p.m. and I was able to purchase my tickets and make my reservation with no problems of what so ever. Were going to Disneyland!!

Mon
can we pick another date when we reserve? but based on the tier we previously picked? Or does it have to the exact day you put when purchasing the tickets?
Jacklyn
Logged on at 6:30am, got into the queue at 8. I believe it was like a lottery there was no lining up order because people that came in after me got tickets. Around 11am the site said “recalculating” then by 12:15pm it went back to “more than an hour” wait. I got frustrated snd was about to give up, but I just exited the tab the queue was on and went back to a new queue and it ended up said 38 minutes for wait time, then I finally got the tickets at 2pm. Good luck everyone!! It’s just disappointing that it’s a lottery pick of who proceeds. Just hang in there it will happen!!
Teresa
I’m finally to the purchase ticket page but it won’t let me purchase. It keeps charging my credit card but then Refunding and saying some details are not correct. I don’t understand what is happening. So frustrating!
Julie
I waited for 8 hours. During the last hour, I got a countdown in minutes. When my turn came up, I was able to easily purchase the tickets and get our first choice for our reservation. Hang in there. It’ll be worth the wait.
Teresa
How long did you have to wait for reservations? I bought the tickets but now I’m back in line for reservations
Todd A Santos
Took us 8 hours on the 15th
Tony
I was able to buy ticket and make a reservation but not book a room. I was sent back into the queue when I tried. Five hours later and I’m still in the queue…
Carly
I finally got to the purchase page and ordered my tix after 9 hours – I entered queue at 8 am… however, it’s stuck on a page with Woody on it saying, “please wait while we process your request” buffering (for an hour) so no clue if the tix were actually purchased or what to do now. Has this happened to anyone?
Mon
this is happening to me, it hasn’t charged my card but the woody screen is still trying to complete my request, did yours happen to change?
Viet
Did your purchase finally go through? I had the same thing happen from this morning and it’s now over 12 hours and I’m still on the page with Woody!
Chris
were you able to purchase your tickets? I’m stuck on the same screen and I’m tempted to hit the “back” button!
Steve
I logged in at 8:05 am.. got my tickets within 5 minutes.. booked my reservation.. super quick and easy…?♂️
Melanie
Waiting in queue since 730pm am….its now 7:13pm. 12 hours. Still says “more than an hour”. Also now has update from 4:14pm stating they are pulsing guests in waves. OMG… just trying to get my son a 5th birthday gift. S.O.S. ….HELP…. internet gods help this process along please!
Saw somebody say they bought tickets from a hotel…. wish I knew how/where to go that route!!!
Mariah Fedderson
Go to area travel. They are legit, I booked through them today. They gave me a $28 discount for each ticket! I linked them to my Disney account and they were validated. I am currently in queue to make the reservations but at least you’ll have tickets!
Ruby
Logged in at 7:15 AM to make a reservation, currently it’s 7:34 PM and my all my screen has said ALL DAY is more than an hour. I understand it’s busy but this is ridiculous.
Mila
Been in the queue since 10am (pst). It is 7:42pm now and still over an hour wait… they should get some tips from Coachella or TicketMaster b/c this is horrible..
Rochelle Morua
I logged on at 8 am, finally got our tickets in the cart at 1045 and the system glitched and logged me out before I could buy. I finally got back on around 1145 to finish checkout and then put me back into queue to make park reservation and I’m still waiting and its 8 pm. This is so rediculous! Now I have tickets but can’t even reserve the day to go to the park. So frustrating. Why couldn’t they just sell me the tickets at the same time as reserving a park, its that simple.
Kat
This is ridiculous! I purchased tix at 9:30 this morning and am still in the queue to make a reservation at 9:30pm! Why did it ask me what day I wanted when I bought the tix? Now the date I chose is not available! This should be a one step process!
Mon
Wait so does that mean you can pick another day? If it goes with the tier u got?
Kat
The day I picked when I bought the tix is already sold out.
Lolo
It took 10 hours but I finally got my tickets. From there, it was easy to reserve dates for the two day tickets. As of 6:30 this evening, all dates were open except for opening day, Saturday, May 1st and Saturday, May 8th. Even Memorial Day weekend was wide open for both parks. Good luck… it took forever but got’em!
Becky
Been waiting since 11am for ticket buying and it is now 8:31pm. I’m dreading after I hopefully get my tickets to make a reservation. 🙁 This blows but I love Disneyland and will wait. It’s worth it!!
Dee5604
Bought the hotel ticket package but now in queue for park reservations. That makes zero sense. The hotel package should include the park reservation.
Karla
Same…

I waited 12+ hours (having tickets already) to reserve the theme park dates, only to get the Stitch message “someone ate the page” repeatedly for 30 minutes and then I got KICKED out of the queue!!!! Now I am back in line starting over from scratch. Ugh.
Rakhal
Same!!! I’m so pissed.
Sandra
I coy/pasted the reservation link into Safari and it worked with only a one minute wait. I couldn’t get anything but Stitch in the other browsers.
Lonnie
I logged in at 7am and was able to purchase tickets at 530pm. Reservation was actually quite easy for me I was disconnected from the internet throughout the day and I’m thinking that’s why I was in queue for so long.
Billy
Got 2-day tickets at 10am but I’ve been waiting for the theme park reservations since. Coming up on 12 hours in queue. Ugh…
Mike
I logged on at 7:45 am and at 8:00 am I got the wait message saying my wait time was over an hour. By 9:30 am I got in and was able to purchase my tickets and make my reservations.
teresa
Entered waiting room 8am, got tickets at 8:30pm. But, now I’m back in the waiting room to make the reservation, is that correct?
Becky
I was able to reserve my day right after I purchased tickets. ?
Craig Russell
12 hrs and counting ?
Becky
Update: It took 12 hours to get my tickets and reservation was easy peasy. You are directed to reserve your day after you purchase your tickets. I didn’t have to wait any longer. So thankful for that. Whew! What a long day of waiting. But so happy I got my tickets!! Disneyland, we are coming!!! 2021 ? Don’t give up everybody, you’ll get your chance to get tickets!!
Katie
Entered waiting room at 7:15am waited all day at about 9:30pm started counting down. Was sitting here waiting at 29 minutes literally looking at the screen and my wait time randomly changed to more than an hour again. Wth Disneyland?!
Karla
Me too!! Mine was at 9 mins and i blinked and went to one hour or moreeeeee 🙁
AA
have been in the waiting room queue since 8:30am, its now 11:44pm I think I’m giving up at 2am.
Karla
Same…

Signed on around 4pm thinking the morning rush would be over. It’s now going on 12:30 am April 16.Still says Approximate wait time more than an hour.It has never changed.Still waiting not sure if it will connect as the train still keeps going around the mountain over & over & over & over etc……. the ticketing & reservation system is worse than Ticketmaster.
Leila
Started waiting at 8am. Finally got to purchase around 8pm. Waited again from 8pm-1am to make reservation, only to see Stitch’s “someone ate the page!”. I don’t know exactly what that means. So frustrating. Been waiting for 17 hours now. I’m getting tired.
MC
I went and bought tickets and got an email saying it’s processing? They will email me once it’s done processing? Anyone know what’s going on?
ELA
I was able to purchase 2 tickets but not a make a reservation. I clicked on all the dates it showed Disneyland is open and a page popped up with Stitch saying “Sorry, someone ate the page!” Why are they selling tickets if there are no dates left to make a reservation??
Sandra Banfield
You may need to copy/paste the link into another browser. That worked for me on safari. Also, I read that other people opened a different browser and logged out and logged back inc and that worked for them.
stacie
I also started on Chrome browser and got ‘ate the page’ but Safari works!
Tom
I waited from 7:30 am ’til 5 pm , and then both parks had wide-open availability!
If they’re selling 20,000 tickets for each day, after 10 hours, how can they have full availability???
I’m baffled…
Dorothy
I was able to get tickets after 91/2 hours of waiting.
Then it took me 81/2 hours to get my park reservations. My dates were still available so I’m ready to go! Can’t wait! ?
MrsWeasleysTwin
I was in the queue for 9 hours and finally was able to purchase tickets. Probably could have just waited to buy some today, but it was my day off so why not take the challenge & try. 🙂
Crystal
Has anyone else had a problem purchasing the tickets? I get in to purchase but when it’s time to check out I continue to get an error message. All the information is correct but still no luck, I’ve tried at least a dozen times.
Valerie
Same here wth!
giselle
same here still no tickets in my email ? did you get urs yet ?
