Overall I think it’s a cautionary step forward. And personally when you are outside in open air and distance enough form others I see no problem with not wearing a mask. If I’m out bike riding or walking the dogs I will have a mask with me, but rarely wear it, (I live in Orange County, CA) and most folks in our area are pretty much the same.
However I would rather see this allowed only in designated photo-op areas in each park. That way it can be easily controlled and as someone pointed out above, not be taken advantage of.

    Agreed

I think it’s absolutely absurd to make people wear a mask at all! Especially outside at a theme park! It’s ridiculous! If people choose to wear a mask, then fine! But they shouldn’t be making anyone wear it, especially outside! So stupid! We definitely won’t be returning to Disney until we don’t have to wear a mask at all!

It is NOT relaxed enough. Masks are NOT needed outside at all! There is no scientific nor medical evidence that concurs masks prevent the spread of anything.
Florida has had less covid19 deaths and it has steadily decreased.
It is has been proven states on lockdowns still have more deaths and are climbing than open states.

Yes! Exactly. The masks are useless.

From the look at recent crowds in FL, masks are needed inside the parks. Now with the awful FL heat, humidity and growing crowds this will be uncomfortable. I’m not going to any park until I’m vaccinated this month. I just got my annual pass to CA Universal yesterday. Hopefully, I’ll get my Disney AP this month as well, can’t wait to see the new Avengers campus this summer! Beach and parks all summer long!! Masks or no masks, I’ll take it. But personally wearing masks for a few more months is no big deal. Don’t know why ppl are making a fuss…this is not going to last forever.

I have been to Disney so many times since it has opened from small crowds to capacity and I am not afraid. I would not hesitate to go however I agree the masks should go it is super uncomfortable walking around in Florida heat being suffocated. It should be personal opinion to wear or not but don’t force your opinion on ones that don’t want to suffocate. If you don’t like it don’t come!

Anyone else notice that most of the pictures on this site are of African- Americans families now ? This website owner has been drinking the Disney kool-aide ! Disney is trying to expand it’s $$$ base by taking advantage of these turbulent times & is patronizing Blacks & groups like BLM in order to promote future business! Sad truth is that for the past, now, & for the future, the majority of people that can afford the cost of a Disney Trip are white middle class & more affluent types of people. A few reparation checks from politicians trying to keep their jobs & power won’t change that situation .

Me,myself and I are happy that they are giving the guests the added benefit of taking a picture within the park for a few great pictures with seeing my grandchildren smile on our family vacation, this adds a big plus to our upcoming vacation
Again thank you disney for showing us some additional consideration during our stay
Sincerely looking forward to our vacation ?

I’m a ardent supporter of mask wearing. But if we’re outside, distanced, and just taking off the mask for a photo, then putting it back on? Yeah, I’m ok with that as long as people actually adhere to the rules. The risk is so spectacularly low in this situation (as long as variants don’t change the risk beyond what we know right now) as to be effectively nil.

When people complained about the mask rules earlier because they didn’t want to wear one they were told by people here to “Stay home if you don’t like it, We don’t want you here”. Now the rules are starting to change for the better, (even if it is only for a few seconds to get a photo), some people are freaking out. Well now the shoe is on the other foot now and if they don’t like the new rules, Stay Home.

The masks have got to go. They are on and off, on and off, on and off by everyone wearing them anyway so this has been just for show. And it really is about power. We’ve been wearing them everywhere in Michigan and there is no difference with the virus numbers. This virus has a 99% survival rate but the politicians and their complicit media has turned a segment of society into freaked out friary-cats. They love their masks and love “feeling safe”. They even wear masks in their cars alone, all by themselves. The masks rules are for show to make this small group feel safe. I’m tired of putting an a show for them and look forward to the day these stupid masks are gone forever.
