I don’t think the Broadway production would work as a park show. It’s not like a mini-show in a Disney park (which are largely based on the animated film not the Broadway shows that came later). Cutting it down would remove most of the most, cause instability in the story arc and if I know Broadway fans….probably isn’t what they want to see. What would be cool is making a separate theatre that could host the show in its entirety but even that is pretty insanely expensive so it might be a long shot.
We loved this show so much!! We flew to NYC twice to see the show 4 times and think it would be an amazing permanent show somewhere–anywhere!! A separate theater to house the whole performance could be an amazing addition to Universal (like how they did Blue Man Group). And add some permanent Broadway to our area!
