That actually sounds like a lovely idea and would fit in well. I didn’t see Rivers of Light, but saw the Jungle Book show which I absolutely adored and think that Raya, particularly a celebration of the colours and vibrancy of Sisu and all the dragons would reflect beautifully in the lights and on the water. Also, your comment about it being Disney’s next classic – technically being the 59th official movie in the Animated Studios canon it is part of the Disney Classic Canon so already a classic 🙂
I don’t know about a new nighttime show, but this article has made want to see Raya. The Jungle Book was a great show and I felt River of Light took a step back. Hope to see a new and wonderful show soon.
Rivers of light was wdw world of color that got ruined with the wrong character additions i am sorry some people hate lion king and its animal kingdom not lion king kingdom besides it already had a show! Rivers was ruined lost all fans including us! Even cms knew us and managers loved that folks followed rivers came to dak for rivers! They changed the show to we are one but cut the song in half! Whats the pt? The pt now is they screw up big time! Raya would fit rivers and no one would complain… rivers is about water and life it connects like raya plus the music was so similar it was like watching the movie was like watching rivers. Even the soundtrack artists said rivers was as inspiring as the cultures music they tried to represent! Raya and the characters could even be on the shaman boats it could all work. Tuk tuk ongis and dragons could be the animals at the beginning. It all fits!
