    I imagine that with the ME contract ending at the end of the year that the drivers know they are soon to be laid off and are probably seeking other work. As we approach Christmas, the busiest time of the year, the service will most likely be even worse. I recommend visitors seek a different mode of transportation as the end of ME comes near.

  2. I think besides the social distancing factor causing the longer lines, now you have to bring your luggage with you on the bus as before it was transported directly to your room.

  3. We went in the week after Christmas and waited an hour for Magical Express. I think Disney is not increasing the fleet and keeping drivers laid off. Bus transportation is terrible there now. I think they should offer discounts on rental cars and have free parking at the resorts.

    In the new WDW, it’s all about generating revenues. The Magical Express was and is a business cost to Disney, and this is why Disney will no longer provide this service to resort guests. Disney is looking to redirect resort guests into renting cars to get to their resorts. The parking cost at resorts is $25 per day … and that generates revenue for Disney. With Disney, their is always a revenue generating side of their actions which is why park ticket cost have increased, the hotel and resort room cost have increased, and the cost of meals and merchandise has also increased significantly. The next thing Disney will look to do is charge resort and hotel guests for transportation to and from the parks. Do enjoy the Disney Magic which now has the real meaning of finding ways to separate more money from Disney guests.

      That’s why I now go to universal! Get more for your money. Disney is offering less but wants u to pay more.
