Mainly because Falcon was offered to take up that roll and turned it down. Missed opportunity.
No. John Walker is not a “white supremacist”. John Walker is a NUT.
(At least, if the show is following the 90’s comics, except that in this case, the real Cap can’t come back out of hiding to fight him and take back his shield…)
