No more dead than Anna after she herself froze in the first movie. 2 ends with Gale delivering a message that Elsa would be visiting the castle for charades, so she can leave. Finally, the new disney short on Disney+ states the fifth spirit is mankind, so death isnnot a prerequisite. *pulls out needle and pops theory*. Shes totally Ace though.
Yes! Elsa is the perfect hero’s journey. She transformed but didn’t die. Anna needed to stand for herself hence the “death’ of Elsa. She so leveled up.
This is Norse gods She is no way dead and the water horse yes led women and children to drown for unpleasing the gods but they made the water horse something beautiful unlike the real stories
Actually spirits never die. I think he might have said. That her physical form died however “spiritually” alive. So yeah some spirits can manipulate into any form. Especially human form. So.. that’s my theory. To think about it. It’s somewhat true.

The idea that she’s a memory on the site doesn’t add up. All other memories in the movie are either white as snow or “blue” as ice, not flesh colored. She also wouldn’t be trapped in the forest as the other spirits weren’t trapped in the forest. They were in Arindale at the start of the movie.
I never understood why Elsa had to stick around in Attahalen. She rescued her people there, what else is she going to do, live village life? I did notice that Elsa was more calm after her transformation, almost spirit like, but I guess it’s because she found her true calling. If she can leave, why didn’t she attend Anna’s coronation? Also, why couldn’t Elsa go back to Arendelle?
She abdicated the throne, I don’t think she’d be able to attend? Edward VIII didn’t attend George VI’s coronation. I don’t know if it’s customary, but it didn’t happen then.

OK your looking at or wrong if your deciding she’s dead. She bmwas a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly, thst is the metaphor. It’s not death. It’s rebirth. She had to go into her crysalist state, in order to be given her true form, she had to understand death and great it like an old friend… Ummmmmm wonder where we have heard that before, HP anyone?
No, I don’t believe this at all. Elsa has been able to return to Arendelle spend time with her family and vise verse in the books taking place after the movie. This is just lyrics getting wrong in translation and Elsa simply went trough when Anna was frozen in the 1st movie. She is very much alive.

Actually I’m kind of shocked about this article. Of course she’s dead she’s the 5th spirit. Can’t be a spirit unless you’re dead.
