After thoroughly botching the SWGE project(it should have been built behind Main St), Diz wants to cram in things where they don’t belong. The one need sorely ignored in the proposal is PARKING!!! I believe that it is VITAL that the WDC be allowed to buy the “Magic Triangle” of land bordered by I-5, Harbor and Katella. The businesses currently occupying this area could be relocated- at Disney’s expense- to the Toy Story parking lot that Diz currently owns. This way, DL could expand to the EAST, with plenty of room for parking, as well as a convention center and water park!
They are basically calling out Orange County. All this planning hinges on zoning ordinances. It will be tough. Orange County already shutdown a previous planned hotel in DD. I guess they are hoping the influx of money (or perception) will put pressure on the county to approve the zoning changes.
Disney should utilize this expansion to create a brand NEW attraction for PATF and maybe even a restaurant in addition to the ride. Many, many fans want a ride for Princess Tiana and more representation for her. We also do not want to lose an iconic attraction like Splash Mountain!

That’s actually coming to Universal Studios Hollywood! Very excited to see it. About an hour away from Disneyland.

Currently you can go to Downtown Disney without a park ticket. My major draw from all of this is that those days will be over.
