For our family and for countless more. There is No Disney magic resuming anytime soon until mask mandates are where they should be, which is, assigned to the history books! For the majority of people who detest wearing them at their local store whilst shopping, is almost certainly or begrudgingly going to part with their hard earned cash to pay for the the privilege of depriving themselves of fresh air! All day and night. No thanks!
Family pictures? Masks.
My 3 year old will not keep a mask on for 2 minutes much less 12 hours at a park in scorching heat. For children its verging on child abuse.
Disney! Stop being so political and stop the mandates before you lose any more money.
Opposite. Stay home of your wanting to wear a mask and trying to control others. I think it’s been proven that they’re of no Good and use. They’re the most anti science part of this whole thing. Stay home maskers.
Yes I will be returning. I love and miss Disneyland so much that I am ok with the changes. It is difficult since I hate change but I want to be at Disneyland more!!! Have to give it a try.
These rules are dumb. Half of them don’t even make sense from a science standpoint. As all you pro maskers like to say – follow the science. Wearing a mask while walking to your seat, but then taking it off to eat is no different than having a peeing section of a pool. The air and germs circulate. Signs everywhere of what you can and can’t do. Is this a vacation or military boot camp
Wow. I did not know how dramatic it is to wear a mask for some people. My two year old keeps a mask on; not an issue at all. With some parenting, I am sure that term is difficult for you to understand, anyone can get their young child to wear a mask.
It takes time but it is possible. Unless your child has some type of health condition that makes it difficult for them to breath with a mask on, it shouldn’t be a problem. The problem is selfish, anti-masker fools who politicize mask wearing instead of just seeing it as a way to help stop the spread. Also, Disney is not being political. They want that money and trust they know how to get it.
My 2 and twin five year olds wear masks all day just fine. I mean we take them off to eat lunch (outside). We’ve been to the zoo like once a month. I’ve found that if you don’t make it a big deal, and explain why it’s important to wear them, they do pretty well.
Don’t want to fallow a simple rule? Easy, DON’T GO! My daughter is 3 and she can leave her mask on for hours. She actually asks for it whenever we’re going into a store. I guess they learn by example.
People have been complaining because DL and CA have not been open. Now they’re complaining because they’re open but with restrictions and mandates. Some people are never satisfied. DW has been open successfully almost 8 months now, with restrictions and mandates and they have not kept people away. If you don’t like what’s happening, stay away. Leave your grumpiness at home.
I think the complaining is about your desire to control others and embrace fear instead of science. Businesses buying into this are virtue signaling, not actually doing anything that helps. Maskers should stay home and allow normal life to begin.
Again: You don’t like Disney’s rules, you stay home. More room for the rest of us that want to go. Also people like you are the reason Cast Members have faced verbal and physical abuse. Shame on you.
Oh no! A few entitled Disney fans are upset that some of their favorite things are gone. Give me a break. Don’t go to the park then. My family and I stopped renewing our AP’s in 2015, and we last went in 2017. There was no reason to go when construction on many park projects began. Unfortunately for us, those projects wrapped up right around the time COVID began.
Anyone who can’t bring themselves to feel some gratitude and appreciation for the cast members and follow simple rules can stay home and not ruin it for everyone else. Anti-maskers are why the pandemic lasted as long as it did.
Get a grip! My cousin took her family to Walt Disney World, 4 kids ages 3, 5, 8 and 8 and they all wore masks and had a blast including the 3 year old.
Wow, I wish we were all as privileged as you. At this point I’m more concerned with making sure I have a job during this pandemic that is being exacerbated by anti-mask ignoramuses like you than having money to blow at an overpriced playground for people that can not let go of their childhoods.
Went to DW in sept. Mask wearing all day wasn’t that bad. But the weather was really nice. But to be honest some magic is lost because of all the arbitrary rules they are made to enforce. We usually go to DL every year and decided to wait until things are back to normal to go again.

Yes, yes, we get it. All science is political and causes the flu, and he also won Georgia hands down, bigly. Thanks for the update.

Disneyland is also banning shouting and screaming on their rides, especially the rollercoasters. Let the ridiculousness continue…

Yes! Please stay home if you are antimask. More ticket availability for me and other altruistic mask wearing people.

Actually of you’re so scared of covid that you feel you need a mask or you could die. Or kill others maybe you should stay home.
Barbara

Then Do NOT GO!! Trust me the rest of us will not miss you. Stay home with YOUR GERMS and leave the rest of us alone.

Wearing a mask isn’t that bad good god. Play the victim much.

Dont go then.

Your kid won’t wear a mask? Then don’t go until you learn to manage your child.

Then stop promoting Disney. Don’t give them your money.

Stopped renewing our family AP’s in 2010. Supporting Disney became too unbearable. Not been to the park since. Not missed it.

I would LOVE go with all the restrictions in place except one. Out of state visitors are banned. Disappointing
