If you have been on Disney property during the pandemic, you know that there are very strict mask rules currently in place. If we are talking about Disney World in Orlando, Florida, and Disneyland in Anaheim California, mask wear is strict enough where Cast Members are not only patrolling Guests, but Guests must not remove their mask unless actively eating or drinking in a designated area. This is all an effort to keep both Cast Members and Guests safe!
While the rules are there to keep Guests safe, but as we have reported in the past, and from my own experience in the parks, some Guests do not always comply with the rules. Now, it seems Disney is pushing the style of their masks as a pro, and as a way for Guests to accessorize their outfits.
When you can make your face mask match the rest of your outfit, you radiate style from head to toe. And with all the new face masks available in youth and adult sizes on shopDisney.com, it’s now easier than ever! Whether you’re a Star Wars enthusiast, an aspiring Avenger, or a lifelong fan of Mickey Mouse himself, there’s really something for everyone!
As someone who enjoys dressing up for a day at the parks, I personally have found that a matching mask can really up to your outfit game! It’s like having a great hat or a new pair of earrings, and when it fits just right, your outfit will look better than ever.

Of course, many of us cannot wait for the day when masks were a thing of the past, along with COVID-19 and the pandemic, but since we are still in the middle of it, it is great that Disney is creating a positive narrative with the mask that allows Guests to forget that they are wearing it to avoid a deadly virus, but rather because they want to add to their outfit.
If you want to check out some of Disney’s latest masks, take a look below!
Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up) and Cast Members, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine. Please bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times, except when dining or swimming. You may remove your face covering while actively eating or drinking, but you must be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing.
All face coverings (whether disposable or reusable) must:
Be made with at least 2 layers of breathable material
Fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin
Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face
Be secured with ties or ear loops and allow the Guest to remain hands-free

At this time, based on guidance from health authorities, neck gaiters, open-chin triangle bandanas and face coverings containing valves, mesh material or holes of any kind are not acceptable face coverings.
Costume masks are also not considered appropriate and are prohibited from being worn, in alignment with our existing rules.
Face coverings may have an integrated transparent plastic panel to aid in viewing the wearer’s mouth. These face coverings must:
Be a fabric face covering featuring a solid plastic panel containing no openings that is attached to the fabric on all sides using tight knit stitching
Meet all face covering requirements listed above
The use of face coverings is not a substitute for physical distancing.
