From what I have read and observed “Good Morning, Miss Bliss” was not originally intended as a prequel. It came out first on The Disney Channel, was cancelled, and was then redesigned to be “Save by the Bell” for NBC. It was only then that NBC would air the “Miss Bliss…” Episodes making them only look like prequel episodes. In actuality, they were first in the timeline. Usually prequels are written and produced AFTER a present-day hit. The use of the prefix, pre, for before designates them as happening as before something that already exists.
