These events are quite pricey. We paid for the Villians Night. One ticket was $155. Disney canceled it and gave us a gift card. I gave it to my daughter for Christmas; we went on December 29. I think if Disney offers special nights that people should get what they had in previous years. I tire of Disney giving you modified magic and expect full price. If they push modified with full price, revolt and say, “NO!”

I don’t see WDW returning to this strategy until crowd levels are allowed to increase. The ticketed event days makes it more difficult to plan your stay, especially now that park reservations are required.
