So sad this was cancelled. I was really looking forward to it. Literally everyone who watched that show as a child is now an adult. So it makes sense to make it an adult show! Too bad we will never see what they had in mind.
Oh please- I think the actors are making way yo big a deal over it. It’s not like it was a classic- if disney doesn’t want to air it that’s their decision and honestly think they are wayy better things to watch. Yes obviously one should expect a few more grown-up elements but joking about the main dude having to register as a sex offender should not be one. Maybe disney just realized how uninteresting it really is…

It’s also interesting to see what Disney arbitrarily decides is “too mature”. For example, I’ve been on a kick with the Simpsons lately, and there are so many moments that are far from family-friendly. By comparison, I watched all of Love Victor and it’s a fun, family-friendly, and incredibly real and relatable show. I can’t imagine Lizzie McGuire would have had anything too bad, and even if it were sex scenes…The Simpsons talks about sex and has strippers and drugs and drinking in almost every episode!
I would of LOVED to have seen a Reeboot! 🙁 I am sad. I grew up with that show, loved watching it after school. It would of been great like Fuller House, the spin off to Full House. Disney made a poor decision on their end. Sucks!!
They should least make a lizzie family reunion. Like fresh prince of bel-air reunion was good. But definitely was sad to see it cancelled. I’ve always love this show when i was a kid. -yours truly disappointment fan.
I am so sad that they canceled the show it would have been a very exciting experience I grew up watching the show and it just sounds like a lot of people just can’t make up their mind these days they want to do something but then they turn around and not do it it’s going to be a big difference without Lizzie being aroundI would be cool one day down the road that they actually come back to it and figure out what they can do to actually finish it
I bought Disney + and have kept my subscription for over a year waiting for this show that is never going to happen because it’s not kid friendly? Wandavision had suggestive outfits, the Mandalorian was a little too violent, the Simpsons is not a wholesome family show, Scarlet Johansson is sexualized as black widow, but they are worried about a show that follows an adult character not being geared toward younger people? It’s not for them it’s for those of us who are adults now to follow the adult life of a character we followed who was a teen when we were. Just like when Disney did girl meets world and ruined the aesthetic of boy meets world. Which they have on Disney plus showing to actual 17 year Olds pretending to be a married couple consumating a marriage. But I guess the executives aren’t ready to talk about all of that. They probably wanted to exert their power over the show because of their tiny ahem…egos.

Disney+ That is definitely not kid friendly.
