We did encounter some rude cast members on our last trip, which left us astonished. The first one was a woman at the pick up counter located at Sleep Hallow (12/30/20). I told her my order was missing a coffee, and she didn’t believe me. She had to find my receipt first before giving me my coffee. Then it was noted my daughter’s funnel cake had fruit on it when she ordered it without fruit. Same lady had to check the pile of receipts again before she made it right. Second rude cast member was the transportation head of Caribbean Beach. We were standing in the bus stop next to the skyliner waiting for the hotel internal line to ride us back to Martinique. We had ridden on the internal bus to skyliner previous. We kept seeing internal buses riding by and not picking us up. The transportation head argued with my husband over the phone and insisted there was no bus stop at the skyliner while we were standing in it. Finally, a bus was sent to pick us up at the imaginary bus stop. Overall, the cast members were great. These two were just exceptionally negative.
I visited WDW with my husband in December and we did encounter a few CM’s that weren’t particularly magical. However, we agreed that working in Disney during a pandemic and constantly enforcing rules for safety among other things has got to be so draining and stressful and we couldn’t imagine being in their shoes. I think they are all doing their best to remain magical and sane during these trying times.
