IMPOSSIBLE. You can’t organize the Olympics in 7 mos.

The travel industry has been hit hard by the Pandemic. If the Disney Corporation makes the decision to use many of its resorts on property for the Olympic “bubble”, how do future Disney World guests stay on Disney property for their vacation when they have been patiently waiting for All Disney property to be open along with character dining. Suggestion: Use off site resort hotel property for the Olympians and leave the Disney Springs resorts and all Disney resort property for guests who plan on spending time in the theme parks and water parks. During the NBA “bubble” I wanted to stay at the Grand Floridian Resort but was told, sorry.

No one feels bad that you couldn’t stay at a luxury resort during a pandemic you privileged twat

First – planning an event in 7 months can be done in Orlando and Central Florida because they have a massive event infrastructure already in place and nowhere in America is better equipped to do it!
Even if the 2021 Olympics are out for Florida, it actually is not a bad idea considering almost all venues needed already exist in the state of Florida. Between Disney (Lakes, Sports Complex, Road Course, etc.), Universal (Event Venues), UCF (Arena, Stadium and Fields), Daytona International Speedway, the city owned Amway Arena and Citrus Bowl – Central Florida already has a massive event venue inventory. They also have the hotels, the international airport, the ground transportation infrastructure and are used to dealing with this. If anywhere on Earth could produce an Olympics on a dime – its Florida. This is coming from someone who has produced events in Central Florida!

Although it would be great for America and Florida to host, there is still to much going on with COVID in the world and I wouldn’t want it to come and bring more to America. If held in Orlando it will defiantly interfere with WDW Anniversary celebrations with more congestion at hotels and on the roads.
