She’s a terrific director and hopefully she’ll do an episode in season 3, but in my humble opinion, she should not have made this statement right before the finale. I’m going to hope that she wasn’t revealing the finale and taking away the element of surprise.

  3. That could be cool as it would mark the first of this species to turn to the dark side and it would make for great character development.

Possible, of course. But I could it be equally possible that Grogu tries to work with Luke, but then his feelings for Din Djarin get in the way. If Luke still strictly sticks to what he learnt, he might not come through with Grogu.

Having learnt from his dad’s destiny (who of course was Darth Vader), maybe he let’s Grogu leave school. As we learnt from e.g. Rogue One, you can be strong with the force, not turn to the dark side, and still be no Jedi.

That is at least for what I hope for. Children have a mind of their own, after all…

      Exactly!

He may be 50 but he is hardly the equivalent of a middle aged human because he is NOT human remember? His species lives to be in their 900s. Maybe 1,000 for some. He is still a toddler really, probably why they call him The Child. You’d think a director would know that. All children need to be taught right from wrong esp. those with such a traumatic past as this one. I hope he just doesn’t work out with Luke simply because he IS attached to Mando. No reason Mando couldn’t train him to be a Mandalorian.
