The sad thing is all this people come down here from other states and shop at our stores etc. and spread there germs so out numbers keep going up and it not just people going to the parks bc if they want to spend there money down here and at Disney and get half of what they would be getting then they are not to bright. But spend you money down here that’s fine but do t spread you germs.
Don’t fool yourself. All the steps taken to mitigate the transmission of the virus are nothing more than window dressing. I’d wager 95% of the maskers are either not wearing their mask properly, touch their face while wearing a mask, or have a mask that isn’t sufficient to stop the spread. If lockdowns and masks really worked, some part of the country would be showing improvement. If you are scared, stay home in quarantine and have your groceries delivered. You’re not going to stop this virus by taking a bunch of feel good, ineffective precautions.
My husband & I will be visiting Disney World at the end of April. He is bring my there for my 66th birthday. We are really excited that the park hopper will be back. We are staying at the Caribbean Resort.
My family and I were there this week, ending yesterday. The system does work as long as everyone follows the rules. We did see many people who were not from Florida and to be honest we felt safe. There were very few issues of people not wearing masks and the CMs were very quick to call them out. Mainly people walking and eating or drinking. The plexiglass barrier between us and the other guests are well placed and there were seats in between empty so we were not sitting next to someone not in our party. To be honest I loved it. Space mountain was 60 minutes on the board but we got through in less than 30. The Astro Orbiter was the longest line of the day at an hour. Mine train was really long also but moved pretty quickly. Big thunder mountain was blazing fast in comparison. The extra room to walk around is better also.
I hope they keep it like this, and raise the daily ticket rates. We are DVC members with Platinum Passes so it’s not going to affect us too much.
Good for you
Now that you complained do you feel better is your life fulfilling
I don’t think Disney gives a crap about people like you cancelling their Disney+ subscription and neither do I shut. UP

“…..the theme parks are still hosting several Guests this New Year’s Eve as Disney fans try to soak up every bit of Disney magic to end 2020.”
Yeah, soak up more than just Disney magic alright.

Can’t gather at home with friends and family, but can pack in like sardines with strangers at the parks. Makes sense.

Crazy how people just don’t care.

Did you have long lines, are all the attractions open?

Leaving Sunday, going by myself and camping. Super excited. Less people around me than at the grocery store. My masks are packed!
