It’s that time of the year when the holiday calories don’t count! But let’s be honest, all calories from Disney Resort treats don’t count. That’s the pixie dust magic of Disney, or that’s what we want to believe at least. Don’t worry though, because with all that walking around at the Happiest Place on Earth for all its holiday offerings, you deserve one of those festive treats from Downtown Disney District.
With the reopening of Buena Vista Street at Disney California Adventure, many Guests are lining up for the Churro Cart or to get their hands on one of the Holiday Sweets from Trolley Treats. And what holiday dessert item has been the most popular? According to Food at Disneyland, Trolley Treats sold out of these holiday cupcakes today!
With heavy queues to enter Buena Vista Street, don’t worry if you can’t make your way to Trolley Treats, as Marceline’s Confectionery at the Downtown Disney District has equally amazing handmade holiday goodies. Famous for their floor to ceiling window where you can watch these magic makers craft each of the treats, Marceline’s has been serving up yummy seasonal treats. Thanks to Paul from Paul’s Theme Park Adventures, we know that Marceline’s expanded their menu to welcome back these cupcakes too!
These holiday cupcakes are a Vanilla Cupcake and a Chocolate Cupcake that’s on the menu for the holly jolly season. The Vanilla Cupcake is all about our main mouse, Mister Mickey, in a blue winter coat of frosting that has a very Frozen color scheme going on. And the Chocolate Cupcake is an ode to one of our favorite holiday traditions, the Christmas tree. So grab a cupcake and a photo of it at the all holiday decked out Downtown Disney.
Be sure to check out this complete guide to Buena Vista Street before visiting Downtown Disney so you’re all prepped for the visit and ready to jump in one of the virtual queues to get the Disney holiday dessert you’ve been craving!
