You have a mistake on the article. The photo of the first drop is not the first drop. The coaster enters the building at the top. It doesn’t come out of the top of the building.
@mark, I’ve not only watched the POV, I’ve also been to Shanghai and ridden it. Mike is correct, the “first drop” they mention is actually where the train enters the building, not a drop but actually a climb. The coaster leaves the launch directly under.

The sign says project team only. I think they dont want people working on the project {construction workers} to photograph the work site.
