If you want to buy a Disney face mask, the price just went up.

When Walt Disney World reopened to Guests, they implemented several different enhanced safety measures and protocols to ensure the safety of both Guests and Cast Members due to the current pandemic.

One of those safety protocols includes the requirement of proper face coverings to be worn throughout the park. Since face masks are the new norm, Disney decided to get in on the fun and design unique face masks, themed off of different attractions, characters, and holidays, so Guests can show them off in photos during their vacation.

Walt Disney World was selling individual face masks for $6 plus tax. However, when Inside the Magic was visiting Magic Kingdom recently we noticed the price of these individual face masks has increased to $9.99. The sign now reads “Single Face Mask $9.99 plus tax.”

Disney did confirm with us that they have changed the fabric for all face masks, so this could be the reason of the price increase, but we don’t know for sure. It could also be because these face masks are much more in demand now.
