Very upset my grandson was very upset that it was expired he really wanted to scan that code. He really wanted to go to Disney to meet Mickey and Minnie.
Yes the game pieces had an expiration date of August 31 2020 and we got ours last week! I remember looking at that and telling my daughter that was strange. The toy itself (we got Goofy) was great.
These toys were scheduled to be realised at the beginning of the pandemic. Because of the parks being closed for said time of promotion they re issued them. The boxes say to ignore the date. You can still scan the code. They have extended the promotion into January.
I disagree with walt Disney and McDonald’s that they have to recall and pull them off the self come on kids love mickey mouse my daughter loves the toy they where giving out at McDonald’s I would buy her a happy meal just causes liveth mickey mouse toys and now they have to recall them not even 2 weeks since they where out and not even in the happy meal toys come on McDonald’s not even a big deal . I think now these day’s are getting stupider the last thing that I knew that got recall was the toy story 4 forky plush from Disney store cause the eyes where a checking Hazzard. Its the parents who need to watch there kids with toys that can be a checking hazzard
I am so glad that I already purchased three full sets. One my son plays with and two that are still in the wrappers. Guess it’s because they come with tickets to win a Disney trip but they expired August 2020
The game pieces are still.valid. there was an issue with the qr.codes if you scanned it outside the app. The toys with the tickets have been recalled. Restaurants should be getting.new toys soon without the game.pieces. The mcdonalds on 98n in lakeland got 8 new cases of.the toys without the tickets in yestersay
The tickets are dated for August 2020, yes, but that is either a typo or that was the original deadline date before the whole covid pandemic. And either case The code is still scannable, and the true deadline is January 18th 2021. The recall is because it’s confusing for people. I successfully scanned and entered twice with no problem whatsoever. Any of these old codes probably won’t be valid at some point in the sweepstakes….even though it has that they were accepted. Guess we are keeping these closed up and sealed °o°

It wasn’t expired. The box said to disregard the card deadline and enter by January 2021
