This has been a strange year for Disney Parks fans. First, the coronavirus pandemic caused all six of Disney’s theme parks to close. Now, the virus has thrown many families’ vacation plans into flux.
However, there’s excellent news for anyone who plans to be at Walt Disney World Resort on Thanksgiving Day! Via chat, a Disney Cast Member confirmed with Inside the Magic that Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will be offering a Thanksgiving meal for Guests on Thursday, November 26.
The menu offerings for the Thanksgiving Day feast have not yet been confirmed, but we’re sure turkey will be an entree option. Whispering Canyon is known for its hearty, Western-inspired fare, so there’s no doubt they’ll have plenty of “meat and potatoes” for the holiday.
Disney describes Whispering Canyon as:
Gallop on over to this Old Western eatery for games and good eatin’ served with attitude.
Tether your trusty steed and mosey into this log-cabin lodge with rough-hewn charm and colorfully named Cast Members who have a reputation for sassing customers. Take your seat in a cowboy or Indian chair and get into some tasty vittles. There’s plenty to go around!
You’ll want to make sure to end your meal with the Disney World restaurant’s famous apple pie!
Disney has also shared the following information about Thanksgiving Day dining at Whispering Canyon:
