Universal Orlando Resort has announced it will be closing its water theme park Volcano Bay, from November 2nd until March of 2021. What does this mean for 3-park annual pass holders? We got in contact with Universal to find out all the details.

First, if this closure of Volcano Bay impacts your annual pass type you should have received an email about your automatic extension. If not you can always go to the annual pass webpage on Universal’s official website for information on your annual pass.
We spoke to a Universal Team member who explained that if you have a three park pass type your pass would automatically be extended two months after your original end date starting from November 2nd. No action required on your part! This is in addition to the extension you have already received for the closure of the park due to the coronavirus.

If you are like me and purchased an annual pass last year during the Florida resident promotion in which you got six months free with the purchase of a 12 month annual pass, you now have a total of 8 months free! You will not be able to visit Volcano Bay, but it is still a great deal.

In addition, Universal will be extending its passholder appreciation days until October 31st. The perks they are offering for the passholder appreciation days are, exclusive menu items, discounts, buy one get one free photos inside the parks, and much more. If you are looking for something extra special you can book the new VIP Thrills Tour which is at a discounted rate for passholders at this time.
